Good thing I didn't hesitate. I saw the white ones go pretty fast on JJ. I knew this cw wouldn't be an exception. Mine are scheduled to be here on Wed.

White pair is back on JJ now in most sizes. Black may return too.

Eveyones foot is different but the columbia xi are comfortable because the cushioning for me
The pippen 1 has nothing going for it. Heavy, feel weird, and the cushioning is like cement
But i dont own these current retros so maybe they improved?
I doubt it tho cuz they could have improved the look of the white ones to look like the ogs but they didnt.
If you buy the blac red pippen 1 is due to the look of the shoe. They look dope even with the smaller max air sole units.
They butchered the white ones for the second straight time tho

Super bulky on foot and really uncomfortable...there was hardly any cushion. Returned my pair via JJ....

My biggest gripe is the logos are supposed to be the exact color as the black red colorway but instead they make um white and not red. Like why do that? They went out of their way to change them when they coulda just made um just like the og AND not have to change them because both black red and white black ogs used the same damn logo. Makes no sense.
Also the plastic wavy lines on the side of the white ones just looks different for some reason. I dont know if they used a different plastic or the upper of the retro is a bit off white and it makes the wavy lines look different.

still look new. Yes, they're bulky and very heavy, but they look sooooo darn good! Best Pippen in the line, in my opinion.
