smh. now i'm not calling him "the next" anything, but dude is having a good season.
calling him the next JJ Redick.
smh.gif

14.4 ppg

4.7 assts

3.7 rebs

45% fg

42% 3p

dude will be a solid PG for years to come.

and he is a good defender

hes going to be fine but nothing special it looks like. better then the scrub reddick is. Id still take him over Jordan Hill

No offense to the Warriors, but I don't think he'll fully develop into the player he can be unless he leaves that team.

Going by the hype the kid got up at Davidson, he'll never reach that status again. But hey, heard one guy call him an Shorter version of a Kevin Durant in his rookie year...

Monta been gettin' 20+ shots a night and Maggette isn't far behind from that either. Now that the team is depleted, dude got the PT that he hasn't been gettin early on.

Stats dont mean everything. you for bumagette throwing up 20 shots a night, monta another 20, how many shots do you expect steph to get?

this kid can ball, never understood the hate for him. the only real disadvantage i see is his height.

We need a new coach and new management...I'm sure it'll take a turn from there.

now i agree. Dude isnt that short per say, but he is very small. He is not really a point and way too skinny and a little short to play the 2. Hes a pretty big baller. Its one thing to be that skinny when you can shoot that well and are 6'10 like Durant but its a whole other thing when you can still shoot the rock like he does but is that skinny and only like a 6'3 2 guard.

I posted this in the prediction thread. Since the New Year:

18.3 pts
4.9 ast
3.8 reb
1.7 stl
FG% 47%
3pt% 47%

It doesn't matter if the Warriors only have 6 or 7 guys, Monta and Maggette take the majority of the shots. In the two games that Monta missed, Curry averaged 26/4/7.

I gotta admit he took me by surprise, I wasn't happy with the pick and wasn't expecting this much from him. The kid can ball, he just needs to get on that Monta diet, he used to be damn near that skinny too, it wasn't till this past year he got cut up.

He look like a 14 years old so most 2 guards in the league would not be intimidated by him

I'm pretty sure it has something to do with Ellis jacking up shots like crazy. Curry is gonna be goood. Trade that overrated Ellis already.

You speak as though JJ has had an awful career so far.
Exactly was I was going to say

he's having a career year at 9 ppg and is a rotational player. career average 42% shooter
let's be real
42%? Thats VERY good bro..

You expect him to be averaging like 15-20 ppg on one of the best teams in the league?
