does that even really mean anything? Like what are the chances you actually get to test a product

they don't accept people just to put them on a list, you will eventually get a to test if your body type and the amount of time you can put on a shoe is right for that test.

K cool

I was worried everybody got accepted and the invite didn't really mean much

a buddy of mine did this for nike about five years ago as he was a regional manager for olympia sports....he got to test out mostly running/cross training kicks...not too many baskebtall kicks however

I would love to test out running shoes....but apparently you can only be a one sport tester, and I am signed up as a basketball tester

There's a link on it for Google. I forgot it.. but check

Nike Footwear Tester Website.

Hey Rock, any idea when they will start sending out product again? Neither me nor any of the large number of guys I know who tested before they made the change over to the new management group a few months ago have gotten anything since then - just bad luck for us or is that across the board?

I used to test samples for them, received a couple and then they started on site testing only at and i declined them because they were a waste of time. reward? free ES pass for a day.

122232,

What category are you in? Since the switch, I have only got a couple of tests so far.....

They switched the company that handles the website like a new domain it's FMYI that handles it now. And yeah I've had 3 since the switch as well.

How long did you guys wait after being accepted to start tests?

I just applied...funny now they ask if you will wear a low-cut performance basketball shoe...

Some factors that determine if and when you receive product are:
- shoe size (mainly basketball 9,13, 15-18)
- surface(s) you play on
- competition level
- hours played per week
- referral by a trusted tester
- probably most important, reliability

Put in work, follow the rules, and you're golden.

^thanks for the knowledge CWK. I had a feeling those random sizes would be a factor.... dang it, being a size 11 FTL

Do you get to keep the shoes? I'm in Canada and I'd like to do this, so i'll probably use something like MyUS.com, but if i have to send back the shoes, it will cost me a little too much!
