I guess the longer u test with em the better the shoes they give u. ive been testin since 10th grade and was gettin sum O-K shoes. Fast forward 8 years or so and they sent me the hyperfuse, hyperdunk, kobe VII's (so its too late to test those) and lebrons IX's that are in the other threads in the nike forum. they sent me like 6 or 7 shoes since the switch

for the testers that wanna know it shows at the top of the screen what u get/ gonna get once the shoe are shipped out

Just signed up for basketball testing

Hope being a size 9 helps me get in this, like someone asked earlier can we test both apparel and footwear?

I heard back from them. No go. I'm not the right shoe size. Why wouldn't they want a sz 12-13 6'4" athletic type of person to test a shoe out? Do they only have testers test in the sz9 range?

pathetic I tell you

I applied for the running testing and I was denied as well.

From the email:

"Thank you for applying to be a Nike Product Tester.

Our testing department evaluates tester applications by a number of different criteria.

One criterion we look at closely is shoe size. Our testing is limited to specific sizes, and we only accept testers whose shoe sizes match our testing needs.

Unfortunately your application does not match our current testing needs. Our needs do change and you are welcome to re-apply in six months.

We appreciate your interest in NIKE ProductTesting.

Sincerely,
NIKE ProductTesting"

I guess I'll be applying again in six months. Hopefully some training shoes testing will be open.

I was wondering as a product tester, do you get access to Swoosh since we are "working" and doing something for nike.

it would be nice if u could keep the pair since their Samples .. but how long dose the process take to start testing?

i've gotten to keep a couple pairs - of pretty terrible $30-50 cleats. i think the person running the test simply doesn't bother to send out emails asking testers to return them.

i was searching some info on google because i got accepted, lo and behold niketalk was the first link to pop up
I like that the search bar worked and that you used it but most of the posters in this thread don't even post anymore. At least not regularly.

surprised to see this on the front page. i haven't gotten anything to test in a couple years (soccer). kinda surprised because i thought i did a good job with my wearlogs. maybe they're not using the program as much.

Have met a few product testers that work for Nike at WHQ.. Fairly certain those are the ones that get the "Good Products" and sig shoes. Nike has them come in and test the products at the campus. Running around on glass courts with cameras underneath and what not. I'm sure this helps keep the models under wraps and make sure the product never leave the campus.

Just recently heard stories about a 2016 KD that was being tested.

I had a good run testing basketball sneakers for Nike but haven't received an invite to a test in years. Tried to reach out to some of my test facilitators to get no response.

Someone above asked did we get anything for testing. One year we got a Christmas card with a Product tester t-shirt.
