white with the white according to the pics I have seen.

The Brasil away isnt bad. Not feeling all those Dots though. My favorite Brasil kit is the 06 world cup one

Yeah, I was gonna say... I did a double-take when it said Turkey.
Pretty sure their team crest will go on that red circle.

I think the Korea shirts will be fine in person. Those pics are the ones Nike registered with the European patent office or something to trademark the styles (I think there were some fightin words between Reebok and Nike when Nike unveiled the Man Utd shirt with the chevron V) and I think the pic over emphasizes the watermark tiger stripes to make sure its clear for trademark purposes.

I think the Koreas are nice. The USAs will look good on tv, but I wouldn't be caught wearing the blue USA around. The sash is too much. I understand it's an homage, but I was hoping we could create a classic jersey that doesn't need to be based on the past.

.  If they insist on using the checkerboard for the homes there's only so much you can do design-wise.  That one hasn't changed much in years but there's no mistaken what team it is when you see one.

3/3 for the aways

and I think its 5/14 for the homes.

but im also hearing that all kits will be on sale this wednesday.

both portugal jerseys are ill; the oranje is always a class act. it'll be interesting to see how tight-fitting nike decides to make these, especially since adidas is going all-out with the techfit kits.

i'd like to see the backs of the USA jerseys; i was figuring that nike would put the "we the people" design that was used for the 2008 dream team and now on the olympic hockey team jerseys somewhere on these as well. if so, definitely copping the clint dempsey!

World CUP FTW.. can't believe it's been another 4 years since the last one..

a couple of related things from todays newspapers....

from the times (london):

Cristiano Ronaldo and Ronaldinho will take to the field in this summer’s World Cup in South Africa wearing shirts made of recycled plastic bottles.

The change comes after Nike said yesterday that it would make its biggest commitment to sustainability by producing the shirts worn by nine teams in football’s biggest competition from 100 per cent recycled polyester, with each shirt using up to eight plastic bottles. Making the shirts this way is expected to cut the amount of energy used in production by 30 per cent and save 13 million plastic bottles going to landfill sites this year alone.

....let's hope that ronaldinho makes the brasil squad (which i would say is unlikely right now). the world wants to see joga bonito. there have always been rumors that nike forced ronaldo to play in the 1998 final (he was very sick); hopefully they can use their pull in a positive way and get ronaldinho on the squad. also, now that nike owns umbro, the england kit debuted front and center with the nike kits at the press event.

this usa today article confirms that nike will take over the france kit "from next year", and that their soccer sales are up "dramatically" going into the world cup.

Nike Media...

LONDON, UK (February 25, 2010)
 – Many of the world's leading players, including Cristiano Ronaldo, Robinho and Ji-Sung Park will take to the pitch in South Africa this summer wearing the most environmentally-friendly and technologically-advanced kit in football's history. For the first time, all of Nike’s national teams, including Brazil, Portugal and The Netherlands, will be wearing jerseys made entirely from recycled polyester, each one produced from up to eight recycled plastic bottles. Nike unveiled the new national team kits with several footballers at a global media event at Battersea Power Station in London.

“This summer in South Africa Nike will give footballers an edge by providing the newest and most innovative product for the game’s greatest players,

Both the US and the England kits will be purchased. Still debating on who's name I should print. The home town boy Altidore, or Clint.

has anyone seen the away Japan yet? i like the blue but i am wondering if they have like a w/r alternate. russia's was cool till they got booted. The UK away and blue brazil are ust haves though.

Good looks on the pics Sinner. I guess the Korea kits aren't as gaudy as I thought, but I'll be on the fence on them. I gotta see the number and letter fonts though.
