Alright guys new season, new thread. Same Rules as last year. Let's make this one as good as last years. Wish we could get Marky back though

1) The main purpose of this thread is for news and pics regarding MLB PLAYER EXCLUSIVE cleats, and NEW MODELS of cleats.

2) If something's been posted before--especially the stuff that's been around for a while--we don't need to see it again unless you've got a pic that shows a new, unique angle or a close-up view.

3) Posting pics of other new equipment and customized gear is cool too (i.e. batting gloves, fielding gloves, etc.), but only post them if the gear is hot, quirky, or unique in general.

4) If you've got some ID's, MLB game worn cleats, or UNIQUE baseball footwear in your own collection, that's fair game... but please don't post pics of stuff that everyone's seen before. Examples of this would be your standard black 2K4's off Eastbay that have been around for years.

5) Posting pictures of yourselves is fine. But lets not turn this into a hitting forum. A short simple "hips are flying open" or "stance is too wide" etc. is ok. But lets not dwell on this.

Just to let everyone know, I purchased the domain MLBPE.com I'm going to put in some time this weekend and try to have it up and running by Monday.

Hopefully I can do half as well as Mark did with player exclusive. Fingers crossed.
 
Cant wait for another sweet year of this forum. But Dodgers havent reported yet so I dont have any pictures to post.

Is CC doing the glove switcheroo again? Looks like a TPX; he switched between a Nike, Wilson, and TPX last year, then finally just stuck with his Nike model.

also great to see a new 2010 thread, its going to be another great season this year.

Not really a fan of that catchers mask Yadi is rockin. I don't really like the hockey masks to begin with and that one looks too little-kiddy with the vents and not as many defined edges and lines
 
look like MVPs on dice-k.

any ideas on what these are??? wish it was a better pic. my guess is all black coops
 
Are those MVP's he's wearing PE's or just the Eastbay only model? Can't quite tell, might just have different laces in. Either way they look really good. Picked up a pair of the MCS all red MVP's last week for $40 and just put silver laces in them and they also looked much improved.

where were you able to get those at? i really would like to try out the MVPs this season

I had a 15% off and free shipping code at the time they were like $42.75 shipped I'm not sure what you can find out there for coupons from them still. Somebody suggested trying MCS last year so I got my Nike IDs with them and I'll never go back. Feels just like wearing trainers on the field and didn't notice any loss of traction.

Wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions on a pair of baseball sunglasses they've had in the past they really liked. I'm looking to get a pair but I don't wear them outside of baseball so not really looking to spend $130-150 on Oakleys. Anyone know of anything more in the $40-75 range they liked for baseball? Anyone tried these from Akadema? Thanks in advance.

check out the Smith Reactor on ebay. comes with an array of 3 lenses, should be able to find one under $50.
I have a pair of Nike Skylons, they can be had for pretty cheap, but they run kinda small. not a fan of them really.
 
Ok so continuing with the swingman gear at dickssportinggoods, I went today to the one in my town and they had a huge collection.
Batting gloves(black, blue, red)
cleats(black, red, blue)
pants(white and grey with black piping)
black batting cage pullover
short sleeve tee( grey/black,grey/red, grey/blue
long sleeve shirt(grey/black, grey/red, grey/blue)
backpack bat bag
infield glove
outfield glove

any way you could get any pics of any of this? i would be really interested in the bag, pants, batting gloves and shirts
