Wheres the love for the mocha 3?

not a huge fan.  i would rock them if i had them, but wouldn't spend money on them.  i got 2 pairs of blk/cmt 01s and a pair of fire reds that i wear as beaters.  mochas just aren't a priority at all.

The AJ 3 is such an iconic shoe, it's really hard to make it look bad. Then again, JB has a knack for making their kicks look wack. Case in point the DTRT 3's.

Nice restorations, and a nice clean colorway.
 
Very underrated colorway, they just been overshadowed by all the other colorways of the III. One of my favorite IIIs.

used the "iron method": over stuff the toebox, cover it up with a wet rag or t-shirt and iron the creases out making sure the rag is constantly wet.
 
i've never liked the mochas. i thought the brown didn't look good at all and not enough contrast for the elephant print to pop.
 
It's not a classic but a solid, underrated colorway.

These were available everywhere. I grabbed a pair in Foot Locker when they came out. Still got em but they need cleaned up some. May do that and let Goodwill have them.

Mocha's were discounted to $79.99 on NDC and still sat. The Black/Royal 1's got marked down to $69.99 around the same time.
 
I saw these at the mall forever on the clearance racks. But I just couldn't bring myself to buy some Do Do Colored Shoes. They were not my style back then and definately won't ever be.
 
One of the few Js that look clean with brown. BUT not even in my top 5 when it comes to colorways for the 3s
 
I'd like a retro I think with a more pronounced and bold elephant print, like seen on the fire reds, so the brown is more rich in color. If someone could do a photoshop it may get the point across
