Looks like we start of with a big challange

Yeah, we got one of the tough draws with Game 1 and 10 on the road, plus 3 of 4 away to start.

Planning to make at least 4 home matches, if not all 5. Back-to-back in June is tough on the budget. Kind of eyeing that game in Costa Rica for a vacation.

Having to play CRC and Mexico on the same weekend is tough, too. I like the idea of playing them at altitude (Denver/SLC) since we'll have to go to Azteca right after.

But if yall are serious about traveling abroad to go to games, I suggest checking out the different supporters clubs. They offer travel and ticket packages and stuff

Where do you stay in Mexico? I am looking into plans to make the trip.

i have some cousins the live there and other family close to there..

dont know whether to make it a week mini vacation, since the games on a tuesday, or just get there monday and leave tuesday.

Should be interesting to see who makes the roster for the next matches. A good handful of guys that deserve a call up

Timmy Chandler is supposedly on the roster for the Russia friendly next week.

This is pretty much Chandler next audition for Germany. its clear he is using USA as a Platform for the other side
Is this for certain? And why is Jurgen even ******g with the kid if that is the case?

Chandler has had many times to play for the US and be cap-tied but he always denies the call-ups. Plus there have been many whispers from his coach as well as his manager that they may be interested.

Why does Juergen release the lineups so damn late .....and for the love of god please have Jozy back in there

48 hours out. Here it is...

Chandler is back, there's an article up with him talking about being ready to commit now.

Jozy is back, as is TBoyd. Agudelo is in too, which is surprising. Gatt and Diskerud get looks.

Deuce, Dolo, Guzan getting a pass to rest, I guess. Zusi is out, but since they just got knocked out last week, not surprised.

U.S. ROSTER BY POSITION Detailed Roster
GOALKEEPERS (3): Tim Howard (Everton), Sean Johnson (Chicago Fire), Nick Rimando (Real Salt Lake)
DEFENDERS (6): Carlos Bocanegra (Racing Santander), Geoff Cameron (Stoke City), Timmy Chandler (Nuremberg), Maurice Edu (Stoke City), Clarence Goodson (Brondby), Fabian Johnson (Hoffenheim)
MIDFIELDERS (7): Michael Bradley (Roma), Mix Diskerud (Rosenborg), Joshua Gatt (Molde), Joe Gyau (Hoffenheim), Jermaine Jones (Schalke 04), Sacha Kljestan (Anderlecht), Danny Williams (Hoffenheim)
FORWARDS (4): Juan Agudelo (Chivas USA), Jozy Altidore (AZ Alkmaar), Terrence Boyd (Rapid Vienna), Herculez Gomez (Santos Laguna)

Really excited with this lineup...finally get to see Gatt and Gyau with the big team and they'll definitely bring a lot of speed. To be honest, I don't care about the result here, I want to see the youngsters come in at the half and then attack, Russia is bringing a strong squad and it'll be tough to pull out a W but if we can, even better. I'm more interested in seeing them play well as a group, and not simply bunker 11 behind the ball and try and play for a draw

Bradley, Diskerud, Gatt, Kljestan, Agudelo, Altidore, Boyd :pimp:
I really like the line up, looking forward to the game

Sigh...thought Klinsmann would have a different MF set up. Thought Diskerud or Kljestan would have started

A draw is a good result but hopefully it doesn't cause other issues to be overlooked.
Bradley and Howard were our best players. Agudelo and Diskerud show a lot of promise, Gatt not as promising this time around. I think Altidore is still a little nervous playing for the US
