**Official USMNT Soccer Thread**

The USA looks lazy.

Completly agree.

We need some of that Mexican work ethic. bring in Hercules

Jozy is GHOST out there

I feel like the US can win this if they put some real effort into it.

I felt like that at first but as the half went on the more I thought of it as a game plan. A. we're conserving energy B. We're making them play the ball over the top and their crosses aren't quality.

If it weren't for that amazing goal, we'd be sitting pretty right now. In fact, I think we still are - a draw is good result here right?

Two class goals in that half.

Our lineup leads to us playing direct. No real influential options on the bench to change that.

Fingers crossed for 3, bur I'll take 1.

Laziness may be due to severe jet lag... Our key guys traveled from Europe to Miami then to Honduras....

Horrible. Besides Dempsey, Bradley, and Howard everyone on this team is complete @#@$. It's like no one even knows how to control the damn ball with those disgusting first touches and garbage clearances

In before "But Cameron plays for Stoke City:frown: "

Honduras' D has been attacking our front & getting the ball out of their side of the pitch. Our D is waiting for their frontline to come to us instead of attacking. No passion....

This game is over.

Bad playing by the USA. I have finally given up on Klinnsman.

Poor choice in picking Gonzalez over Bocanegra. that experience was definitely needed.

No man of the match everybody was horrible.

Gotta start from scratch.

How huge is Costa Rica in Denver before Azteca?

:smh:

Getting a result in this one was paramount. We blew it.

Lack of effort. Poor coaching decisions. Veterans sitting. ect. It wasn't a good day.

why is the defense always trash and lazy late in games?

They were pretty much trash all game as well :smh: Too many USMNT fans get hyped up over our players having one or two good games and then being transfered to F-list European teams/leagues

Seriously, what the hell is the point of joining a club like Stoke that doesn't even play football? That's not how we're gonna develop talent  At least Dempsey and Bradley play for real teams, the rest should just stay in the MLS where they get lots of playing time

And please stop bringing up Altidore. I don't care if he scores 100 goals a year in the Dutch League, dude tries to be Ronaldo on the US squad with that whole "kick the ball in front of me and try to outrun the defender" move he does everytime :smh: Come on, you're too slow for that

I don't think this is on Klinnsman, this is on the players. I'll give the club guys a pass coming from Europe as jet lag can be a mother. The younger guys didn't seize the opportunity. Just like in he Canada game, no sense of urgency. I think it's part of our culture to be honest. In any event, these are the guy we got so let's try to ball out the best we can [kanye shrug]

One benefit is that he will def give younger players a shot against Costa Rica.

Gatt, Diskrued, and Corona see ya soon
