was just about to post this!

I have no idea how this slipped through the cracks till today.

Any insight on the kid?? Like Julian Green, I know next to nothing about him

He's also played in a couple of League Cup and FA cup matches this season and played REMARKABLY well for a 16 year old. Hopefully he pledges his future to the US.

He played at Whitman HS (right outside DC in neighboring Montgomery County) and spent his formative years in the DC Area. He speaks English like an American and for all intents and purposes IS an American Teenager (as opposed to the bulk of our German Contingent who have the blood but not the culture).

As a GOONER AND an AMERICAN, I have nothing but high hopes for the kid. He could be that #10 that we've always dreamed of.

It's being called a 6 week "event" starting Tuesday May 13th on ESPN 7PM ET. Follow's the USMNT for the 100 days leading up to the WC.

:smokin This looks soooooo good...

Props on the vid PSK...

ESPN is doing soccer some justice finally...

Its gonna be a great summer for footy programming...

That series looks sooo good... I love the behind the scenes stuff like Being Liverpool (not even a Reds fan), MLS 36, etc. Now I get to watch a program about a team I follow...

Shocked EJ isn't on the list, must be such a huge heartbreak for him... Dude had a great 2 year stretch, then went for the money in DC and fell off hard.

A little bummed that Agudelo is left off, but not surprised.

Yedlin being included is somewhat shocking, but I like it.

I like Yedlin in there. He's played pretty well for Seattle & that little bit he played for the USNT...

You abuse the word "nice."

The notable things that i've seen mentioned...

-Including Chandler and Yedlin means Klinsmann is still not set at RB and/or Cameron might be put in Omar's place at CB.
-Fabian being listed as a defender again. LB? Or RB (where he's played at Hoffenheim for the last several months?
-Donovan as a Forward? Off the bench?
-Terrence Boys probably bouncing off the walls right now. Probably have to give him meds to calm down and get to practice.
-I feel bad for Grown *** Man. :frown:

Looks like a decent squad, especially the 3 goalkeepers. I'm a big fan of Rimando, glad he will make the squad. Midfield looks decent, forwards look very average. Defense is always a concern with the USA

I think Donovan needs to be a starter. This is Donovan and Beasleys hfourth world cup believe it or not so they need to be the onfield leaders. I think the vets wont let the pressure get to them...especially when they step on the field against Germany.

Wtf, how did Eddie Johnson not make the team?

Terrible run of club form, plus Boyd playing out of his mind the past six weeks.

I still think he should be there and it could easily hurt us not having him but he did it to himself. The great irony being he deserved to get paid after last season, he forced the issue as he was entitled to do so, and now that course of action has caused him to miss what's likely his last chance at a World Cup.

^ Through 8 games with DC United he has yet to score while Wondo has bagged 5 goals in 9 games & Boyd scoring 6 goals in the last 4 matches.

Klinsmann has long said he was only going to take 6 forwards to the WC so EJ needed to make sure he produced which he hasn't.

was hoping to see Eddie as well. despite the rough stretch, usually seems to offer us a nice burst of energy as a sub.

It shouldve been Johnson over Wondo man... yeah Wondo was at the right place at the right time for those goals but you cant leave out Johnson over Wondo.. idk just my opinion... i really like Johnson as a player :smh: :smh:

EJ's comments about his DC teammates didn't help his cause either. Was more like the icing on the cake for Klinsmanns decision.
