EJ's comments about his DC teammates didn't help his cause either. Was more like the icing on the cake for Klinsmanns decision.

I honestly don't think that factored into his exclusion from the team. His play did. If anyone's watched the 8 games he's appeared in, EJ has looked awful which is par for course with him. He has a good year, followed by a bad. He's looked lazy, aloof, & disinterested for DC United.

I don't like the new kits but I really, really want a Bradley or Wondo kit. Guess I have to suck it up or just keep wearing my centennial shirt (which is still the GOAT to me)? Thanks a lot Nike for putting me in this dilemma :smh: Yea they made a nice Portugal kit but I wanted to rep both Portugal and USA this summer

Shirt would be insta-copped if they had just put navy blue instead of that shade

If anyone missed it go to usasoccerarchives.com

you have to register an account but its a great site with torrents for everything USMNT related.

Real useful for catching our boy's club games for the guys who don't play EPL.

I was actually just wondering this today too.

I'm sure it will be closed to private, but surely there ought to be a few public events while they are here right?

just watched the first episode. thought it was good. got me even more excited for the WC. expect it to continue putting things in perspective for what this team is about and what they're setting out to do.

Words cannot describe how nervous I am for the World Cup.

The realist in me knows that the odds of getting out of the group is against us.

The fanatic in me keeps reminding myself that anything is possible and upsets do happen.

So hard to keep an evenkeel when pondering the different scenarios :\

Let's watch in SoCal :nerd:?

ill let you know if I hear anything. I may just head over and poke around sat or sunday.

From what i've read, training session in stanford will be closed to the public. There is however, an open practice at the stick on monday the 26th at 5 that will be open to the public and free. if you guys hear anything as to where they're staying, let me know, wouldnt mind trying to get a few autographs and pictures.

Also at Mcteague's saloon, on polk st in the city, is having a world cup themed 1994 american outlaws party that same monday. In case all you norcal folks dont know, Mcteague's in the home of the american outlaws san francisco chapter.

Too bad Portugal and the US are in the same group, otherwise i'd be more excited about all the events in the city but i'll still check out some of the events. My heart belongs to Portugal but i sure hope they both make it out of the group.

the fact that the only two available currencies are USD and Chinese Yuan is a huge red flag that this is a counterfeit store.

I learned long ago, that if the deal is too go to be true, especially for non-reputable online stores that sell jersey/apparel and it is based out of Asia, it is 99.9% counterfeit.

WHY U NO RESPOND TO ME!?!?

I need a fitted for the WC. My old Donovan is old.

My bad dude.

I can't remember which game, I wanna say the first match against Ghana I am planning on catching it with friends in LA :nerd: :nerd:

Just got around to watching that "Team USA doc on ESPN", it was pretty cool to see the team up close and personal. Didn't know Jermaine Jones and so many players on the team are German. Anything is possible come World Cup time. We can finish first in our group or last but I just hope we bring our A game and compete to the fullest and not get overwhelmingly embarrassed with the WHOLE WORLD watching.

Finally got to watch the USMNT show. Wow, I really liked it. I love watching these behind the scenes stuff even if the material you see is controlled. That scene when the kitman was in that make shift kit/equipment room making Jozy's shirt, I wished I was in there just picking stuff I wanted. I'd be laced up like Klinsmann every day. He looks like he pops tags all day.

For those that don't know, this series was created by Rodger Bennett who is one half of Men In Blazers. Here's an interview with Bennett from a couple of days ago. Can't wait for the next episode.

Here is my son's USA away with Bradley name set...

Some more vid material on the US team. The first one focuses on Kearny, New Jersey which has produced the likes of John Harkes, Tab Ramos, & Tony Meola. The second features Deuce.
