**Official USMNT Soccer Thread**

Poor defending by Omar again allowing that cross leading to that header... Those headers tonight have nasty intent...

Our friends south of the border just put in another great performance this cycle  please let the USMNT put them out of their misery on Tuesday :smokin, still think we can eek out a draw here

Welp. Smh ah well were still in good shape for qualification but this match has mostly been poor

The Ticos counter straight killed us all night. They attacked all night & we didn't want to stop it. Great now Besler gets a yellow & now won't be available for the next match...

We lost Jozy too and MB may not be ready smh Brooks and Bacon are gonna get thrown into that Mexico match now...I REALLY want another dos a cero  I know they lost Chepo but still, they're allllllll outta sorts. I think this was a blip, yeah CR is in first now but were Gucci the Mexico loss helps immensely and we will finish in first. I was extremely nervous once we lost General Bradley (who should have the armband), love Deuce but he's not exactly a captain in my eyes.

Well, that was crap. Midfield poor, back 4 looked lost.

Poor Chepo, tho. I've think I have an extra ticket for Tuesday, he can sit with me.

What surprised me is how awful Besler played. He's played so well for the US team this year. That midfield & back 4 look so fundamentally bad. Without hyperbole, they honestly looked like a high school team.

The defense was especially bad. They kept running backwards with their backs to the offensive players & their necks turned around which allowed the offensive player not only to settle but set for a cross/pass or try to score. They should've met the ball & stopped the player dead in his tracks. It was shocking to see on that level of football.

I think the Mexico game could be a trap game to be honest. If El Tri have any sense of pride, they should come out playing like an angry nest of hornets.

Mexico coach Chepo de la torre got fired, FINALLY.

This could either be a trap game for the U.S. or it will be an epic blowout

Hopefully, they look at the loss to Costa Rica as a wake up call that they can be touched.  Been a good run thus far, but now they need to bounce back...

The back 4 obviously played terribly last Friday but credit to Costa Rica for their relentless counter attack.

Having said that, look at this atrocious acting job from Costa Rican foward Joel Campbell at the 5:40 mark. Damn man... :smh:

I hope the US files a complaint & they suspend this fool. This is absolutely disgraceful.

they said it at the beginning of the pregame...nothing more dangerous than playing a team that is backed into a corner
