**Official USMNT Soccer Thread**

I got to admit I'm actually excited to watch tonights game. Kliesmen(s/p) has me hyped for our new younger more talented team then what coach Bradley had to offer.

Can NT provide a link?

We look fluid, but still lack to create/finish in the final 3rd. This is a pretty weak CR side, no reason we can't put up 3 or 4.

I like this 4-3-3 Klinsy brought out. We should be up 2-0 but lack of finishing. Hopefully we get some goals in the second half. Overall I think we are doing well.

Disappointed is an understatement

Too many chances that were completely blown.

Effort and heart were there, but no goal. I think the midfield ran out of gas towards the end of the first hand, and never really recovered. Shea banish after the first 20 minutes. All in all a reverse of the Mexico game. Good first half, bad second half. Let see who plays against Belgium.

had no idea.  'preciate it
disappointing result.  but i did see a few things i liked from a couple of the young guys.  definitely need to use these friendlies to establish a better chemistry with the group though.

Awful performance by the US.

I do not like Jozy altidore due to his poor footwork

Juan Aguadelo played well and should get the start in Belgium

Coach might have worked them to hard because they looked gassed after the half

Can anybody shed light or direct to me to an article regarding the post-game dual citizenship conversation? I was flipping channels and the discussion sounded interesting enough to make me want to learn more.

although no one is happy with the lose, there were some encouraging signs..our possesion and small  passing are improving..Torres, you now have a spot on this team....

we now have to figure out  how to pass to score, not just pass and pass with no goal in mind.

^^^Yeah Torres Look solid today. Going forward, I think Klinsy is going to have to break the new to Bocanegra that he is no longer the captain or a starter. Dude is mad slow and I think his time has come to an end on  the NT. Chandler was quiet, but ok game. Dempsey needs to be tested as a striker see if he can provide that finishing touch in the box.

I was kinda dissapointed we ddint ssee Chandler push up the fielf higher..our biggest problem is figuring out a cb pair that work..Chandler and Fabian have the outside backs covered..i agree, Bocanegra is slow and old..I know he has never played there, but is it possible for Dolo to play that right cb spot? and have a taller physical player partner him?

Your guys are Jose Torres is definitely a baller and best player tonight.

Bocanegra needs to find some quicknes or he will be gone from the starting line up.

Hopefully Klinnsmen understands that the back line still needs work. Especially sine Castillo is not really holding his own imo

^^I would have liked to see Fabian, but for obvious reasons we did not. I think going forward areas of concern are:

We need to figure out who is going to be the striker for the team. Jozy has all the tools, yet still lacks that killer instinct to put the ball in the net. Agudelo is still young and raw, but he has skill on the ball.

Who is going to start in the D? You have A lot of people, but who can really get the job done? Orozco, Bocanegra are not up to par. I think Dolo is skilled enough to play the position, but I agree he will need a taller, physical partner. Omar Gonzalez should get a look. Chadler had a ok game, and going forward I see him looking down a spot. Lichaj did not play because he is injured, but I figure he is going to be there also, when all is set and done. Fabian will get a look back there also, along with Ream, and Goodson.

Like I stated earlier, I think Bradley can serve a purpose on the team. He lacks skills, but makes it up with the blue collar work and effort. Will he partner up with JJ or Edu, who looked average at best tonight.

All in all, I dont ever like losing any game, especially against the Ticos, but its a rebuilding effort. People need to realize that, and if you expect it to happen overnight, well then you dont watch futbol.

One more thing. I think Shea has tons of skill and will be a starter on this team in the future, but he looked tired today. I give him a pass though. That DALLAS schedule is brutal.

I did not see anything from Chandler, Edu, or Altidore in this game. Altidore is not that good to be starting for the team.
