**Official USMNT Soccer Thread**

That's what I'm saying. Why are they throwing things at all??

I mean I get that you are repping their great home nation, but can they at least respect the country they live in now?

This ******g guy.

Straight owned them. LD is a beast!

I love seeing EJ, LD, and Beasley on the field together. Nostalgic.

Deport the fans throwing **** at Landon

I agree. Im all for immigration but once you come into the country try to be respectful and not kill it for your people (our people). This is the stuff that gives bill oreily and rush ammunition to be racist.

Playing physical is one thing but when you get it back & start crying to refs is another. Of course it happens but like I said only the b***h a** ones do it. I tend not to like those types of players.

Nah, every player jostles for position, every player puts their hands in the air and looks to the ref when they're on the other end of it. You're being selective as hell in singling out Wondo for being a *****.

Your prone to making bombastic statements that make you sound like every other sport fanatic. Not to sound condescending, your smarter/better than that. Every player? Every single player on the face of this earth? Nah.... Not that type of b***h a** play. It would be more accurate to say a lot of players do that, but not all. To say that is woefully inaccurate or to use one of your phrases, it's laughable... :D

I hate Wondo too, but what he does is not outta the ordinary of soccer players all over the planet.

And now you're just nitpicking on generalizing soccer futbolers. Quit sounding like a condescending douche

Why don't you point out these bombastic statements I'm prone to making.

And I have to correct you, you're better than that, you really want to play the lame semantics game? Was Wondo really crying?

What's more accurate, a lot of players do it, or ONLY the ***** *** ones.

Just admit you're wrong and/or have a thing against Wondo.

Your statement about all players every single one on the face of this planet jostling for position & then crying to the ref when he gets shoved back is prime example. If that were the case, the Salvadorian player on Wondo's receiving end would've cried to & he didn't. By your rationale, every play & every player on the pitch today would've done so & that clearly didn't occur.

Does the jostling occur, yes. Does the crying occur as with Wondo, yes (a lot even). Does every single player do it every single time & every single moment. No.

Your making the assumption that I care about Wondo or have an opinion about him. I don't either way. I do think his play inside the box at the moment I saw it was p***y play even Eric Wynalda said something about it.

I'm not sure why this is even worth arguing over. :rolleyes

We actually looked good yesterday. A lot of pressure, we were going forward all game. Great game by us

Nikki Romando on those two saves :smokin :smokin :smokin

Landon is seriously the man. I wish he played in the EPL he would be such a great ambassador for the US. He plays at a different level then our whole team. He is too talented to be rotting in mediocrity in the MLS. Such a shame. Where is Dempsey btw?

Its the Gold Cup so teams usually just send their young guys/B team. So Landon is just there because he has been away from football for a while and away from the national team program.... also as sort of punishment since he's was in Jurgen's doghouse

Landon is playing really well. Looks like going to Thailand to find himself worked out well for him.
I'm shocked he's come back and played at this high level. Hopefully it carries over into the WC qualifying and from there, into Brazil :nerd:

Also, whats the deal with Agudelo??? Son has been off the radar for awhile now. Really liked him back in 2011

Stagnated, kept moving clubs, injuries. Started well in NE, but hurt again.

MLS contract up at the end of this season, no chance he stays. Hope he goes to a decent league, not Scotland. I'll take Scandanavia over that.

love seeing eddie in there from the get go today. will have an eye on holden as well, want to see him do well.
