**Official USMNT Soccer Thread**

I just got home from LA yesterday so I might just watch it with my pops up in Rocklin

But if I hit up a bar, it will likely be Streets of London in Folsom. The owner is an acquaintance of mine :D

NOOO not streets  Man I wish I was back in Sacramento right now, i'd be downtown every day watching the matches.

I might end up buying the ugly away kit. It's ugly but it's the world cup and I can pull it off

I was sitting at the bar with a close friend, but I also hugged several strangers after those goals. Nobody cares after you've been packed together for hours already.

Might hit a bar solo to watch this...none of my friends watch soccer :smh: and last game was too epic to not be around fellow USA fans

Same situation for me, might bring my bro though.

Bring your friends to the bar with you. I'll bet they'll be fans soon after being in that atmosphere.

this. i showed up with some friends in tow that don't even know the full rules of soccer. by the end of the game, they were chanting and hugging other US fans decked out head to toe in US gear

Anyone is the SF area, MadDog on Haight is the place to be. I'll be there deep. :pimp:

McTeagues saloon on polk st is the official bar of the american outlaws in sf. i live on nob hill but never been. im usually in north beach.

Jack's in SJ is the SJ Outlaw bar. they had a live feed from McTeagues up on tv and vice versa in McTeague's. place looked pretty packed and fun. might be worth checking out

Sliver in downtown Berkeley is a nice spot, but the venue isn't that big.

Bobby G's on University too.

I've only been around Berkeley a handful of times, but never would have guessed Sliver would be a spot to watch some soccer.

I would hate watching games there tbh. I would just end up spending like  $30 on pizza over the course of the match

Might be its just convenient to me because I work nearby. But I've usually had a good time watching sporting events there - waiting for traffic to die or just enjoying happy hour.

^^fyi, they changed the location for the Portugal viewing. Its going down in the same field the Blackhawks rally was it. The crowds were much bigger than expected on Monday.

But yea they had some decent stuff to do. Fifa 14, photo ops, soccer 3 on 3s, food and beer booths, merch shops.

You in the South Bay? I can't decide if I want to go out in north beach with all the craziness going on rooting for portugal. I love the usmnt but it's portugal for me this year. The 2002 usmnt is what really got me into soccer. None of my friends watch soccer but I have no problem going watching by myself. I do it all the time. I just don't want to deal with all the douchebag every four year soccer fans that's going to pack the bars. I noticed arsenal in your sig. You ever been to maggie macgarrys in north beach? Official gooner bar. I think they have one in sj too.
