As a Galaxy fan I blame our team for inflating Omars ego. After that DP contract he hasn't been the same. He should've gone abroad but its gonna be a Donovan situation again where we all are gonna wonder "what if".

Besides that, awesome performance all around. That backline looked solid and Johnson and Jozy were MOTM for me.

BRING ON GHANA!

Demspey disappeared the second half. Hopefully he was pulling back to preserve his fitness going into Brazil. Solid win, the back line looked a whole lot better and our counters were looking crisp. It was great to see Jozy find his boots right before we head to Brazil.

If Mix or Bedoya could improve on their final ball in the final third this team could be deadly.

How's the fit on em? Is that the Stadium one?

I was hoping Nike would just make regular t-shirts for like $30 :frown:

I have the good fortune to be able to go the official viewing party at Grant Park next Monday. I cannot wait!!!!!

Had a lot of house hold chores/mini projects to do so I didn't get to watch the game until now from my DVR. Actually watched it twice. The second I kinda FF'd a bit & rewatch portions.

Here are some thoughts -

- Congrats to Tim Howard on his 100th cap. He has a knack for transitioning so fast however he lost the ball a couple of times yesterday.

- The back line that played yesterday did very well collectively except for when Omar came in. He's chief of the oompa loompa village. He hasn't grown at all since breaking into the MLS.

- I liked the line-up/formation yesterday. it's the best game Jermaine Jones has had in a bit. The partnership between he & Beckerman seems to have allowed Jones to play a roll more suited for him (flowing from left to middle). Beckerman loves doing all the un-sung dirty work. I honestly think he'll be a catalyst for any success we have in Brazil.

- I like what I see from Mix. Very sound player.

- You could see Jozy being much more active these last 3 games. He seems to be more energized being back on the US squad & with the prospect of playing in the WC. That second goal looked like it was shot out of a canon. What a great time to come into form...

- Speaking of in form, it looks like the team collectively is hitting it's form (except for Omar).

Can't wait to see how this team does in Brazil. Should be fun. As corny as it sounds, it's a time for heros to be born... USA, USA, USA, USA!!!!!!!

for the Ghana game I think I'll probably be at Ye King's Old Head in Santa Monica (a Spurs pub).

Last WC, ESPN Zone was the spot to be! I was there for the Algeria
