**Official USMNT Soccer Thread**

It has nothing to do with personnel or the system.

But where was all this uproar over Bradley playing in the advanced central playmaking role the past few months? You know when he actually performed quite well? Y'all need to chill it was one game. You can't count the number of games Bradley's had like that for club or country on one hand.

By the way Bradley broke and held the American Eredevsie goal scoring record for years before Altidore playing CAM. He was crucial going forward for Zeman at Roma. He's never been a holding midfielder, more box to box than anything.

I didn't say we should dump him... It was one bad game. But it was a very bad one and his inability to control the ball definitely had an effect.

Yea, enough with the knee-jerk "Bench Bradley" crap. He's obviously one of our best players. Even if you do bench him, who would you even replace him with that's better?

I love sports fans... Complaining about a win... We beat a very good pretty organized active team today 2-1... Stop complaining...

wow. what a roller-coaster of a game. got that early lead and then literally defended for the next 84 minutes. couldn't possess the ball worth ****. bradley NEEDS to be better. he was surprisingly awful today. jones was surprisingly pretty damn solid. what a nerve-racking 90 minutes...literally just watching our boys weather rush after rush. timmy came up big when called on. but at the end of the day, knocked in our chances and ghana did not. i'll take it. bring on portugal.

i'm covered in beer and jameson. what a day. couldn't be happier with how the day turned out :pimp:

I'm glad I didn't watch this game in public. I normally don't sweat much at all, but damn, this game did work on my shirt :smh:  One of the most nerve-racking games I've ever watched. I was literally shaking at my desk

What a game. I was like here we go again when they scored, but brooks was clutch. jermaine played very well and so did Timmy. We need to hold the ball in the midfield with Portugal, otherwise we will lose that game. Watched the game at work and I was so happy we brooks scored I ran thru the building and yell Goal!!!!!!!!!!

Sunday against Portugal. where are SoCal nters watching the game at? :nerd:

I'm gonna be in Irvine for the next few weeks, any good spots for soccer there?
