The final straw was probably the embarrassment that was he Gold Cup final. Should have been a lot worse than that 4-2 line.

So this is the guy who's gonna get the US turned around, can anybody give me a quick review on what he's about?

It still seems like we have a talent problem in my eyes.

I'm curious to see how Claudio Reyna's and  Kilnsmann's respective visions for soccer in this country pan out. Interesting times ahead.

and a thank you to Bob Bradley, I've been vocal about the US needing a change but Bob usually gets too much blame and not enough credit in the big picture. He was very serviceable the last five years, he wont be out of work for long.

was benching Donovan a major part in the firing?.....

its seemed to me that the players diddnt want to play for Bob anymore.

Who knows but personally I thought that, plus the intuition to give Adu significant minutes was what was gonna save him.

This is why it is such a huge hire. This is something we needed here and why I think he can change US soccer forever.

wc draw just finished. i'll ignore the previous rounds and just assume the favorites make it out of each group.

if everything goes as planned :

group a: usa, jamaica, guatemala, haiti
group b:mexico, costa rica, el salvador, tnt
group c:honduras, cuba, canada, panama

ouch at group b.

Costa Rica can be had.

Going to be sweet to eliminate those bastards and yes, I'm going to the Mexico game in Cuscatlan next year...DEFINITELY.

Klinsmann's first call-ups...
