I'm so flummoxed by our 2nd half drop offs.....

Every single game, we consistently fall of in the 2nd half.

I just don't get it......

Looks like defensively, we had a lot of trouble with the 3-5-2. Jermaine Jones looked particularly awful last night after stellar previous outings, he either turned the ball over or had poor position. Besler was awful too. Kept losing track of Gutierrez. Jones & Besler were clearing not in sync with each other.

On the brighter side Yedlin, Bradley, & Zardes looked good. Clint took a lot of punishment last night but kept on ticking like only a Texan could (don't mess with Texas).

Proud to see Nguyen out there. He did alright too, new hair cut & all.

That long ball from Besler to Brek was nice.

Is it just me or does Mix look like he loses steam the longer he plays?

Jozy really needs to work on his first touch & dribbling...

^ I'm thinking it will look better on... I hated the rocket pop away shirts from the WC last summer but they looked a lot better on... :rolleyes

That one grew on me as well, but I don't see that happening for this one. It's like a worse version of Portugal's jersey from the WC :smh:.

Doesn't surprise me. I've definitely noticed improvements since Jürgen took over, but we're still horrible with controlling possession and I don't know that our game plans are really thought out.

Curious if any of our players will stick up for him :nerd:.
