How much longer can we depend on Dempsey bailing us out?

Yedlin was an idiot for those yellow cards. That 2nd one was especially unnecessary

Zardes needs to go back to Bakersfield Community College or wherever @NorthOaklandFC said he came from and learn how to dribble a football.

That's not even an exagerration. There's literally no replacement for his goal scoring :lol: so much trash play from our side gets overlooked by biased US fans when he or our goalkeepers get us a miraculous result

A vocal minority of U.S. fans are unbelievable. Even when they win an important result all we can talk about is how trash the team is and Dempsey bailing them out. :lol:

Dempsey functions within his role in the squad he's literally doing his job, and for most of his career now he's done it well.

Viewing it as Dempsey bailing us out and single handedly getting us the result is a gross oversimplification.

Right, Zardes and Yedlin were world class today. Altidore also has some old YouTube videos from his days in the Dutch league that we can still watch tdoay :pimp:. Completely forgot about all these accomplishments. :lol:

Seriously though NorthOaklandFC, you are the most overly positive US fan in here. Everyone on the team is good in your opinion. I'm sick of getting results based on luck, because we always run out of it eventually. maybe your standards are a lot lower than mine for the US; I don't accept mediocrity and excuses of how long the US has been playing the sport (which is actually a long @$# time by the way)

Brooks was flat out awesome today. Zardes has heard everyone in this thread. was much better taking passes today :lol:

when do yellows reset? after the quarters?

I don't think every player on the team is good, I julol think it's important to analyze things from a perspective that's deeper than solely trash vs. world class.

If you think tonight's result or the team advancing from the group stems from luck and not the performances on the field that says it all honestly.

Not nonsense rambling, just the excuses you always post in here after one of your boys stinks it up on the pitch. You literally said "Zardes is fine. No one thought Zardes would make it from Bakersfield to the USNT :pimp:" a couple pages back, as if that makes his inability to dribble and pass consistently any better. It's great that you enjoy that standard of play; I don't. I want our team to do more than make it past group stages. Sorry for wanting our team to be world class instead of being better than teams ranked under 100, since that's your definition of "not trash" :rofl:

Context and the words of that post were clearly showing respect for where Zardes has come from and his journey.

I mean, the post before that I literally said Zardes would never fit in stylistically with the type of soccer I prefer. But like I keep trying to tell you isn't deeper than trash vs world class.


It doesn't matter what you want man. The team isn't world class, how catastrophic. Complaining about it like a child and throwing all rational sense out the window isn't the answer. :lol:
