We actually have won 4 GOLD CUPS in our history. I dont know what you mean with the second statement. We were not invited to this year's version. anyone notice how mexico attacked from their right side vs Guatemala and also vs the U.S. for most of the game? It was almost exclusively from that side as well. I don't know if it was because the left backs for both teams happen to be trash
or not but the coaches did not adjust to that during the games.

Bornstein gets burned so easily, he's always out of position..no reason Barrera should've gotten in behind on the first one...i cringe a little bit when he plays because you know hes gonna let somebody in on the keeper at some point...Cherundolo's was playing so well too

BB Jr scored the goal, but his fault on 3 of Mexico's goals. Dude is solid, but he should not be starting every damm game.
Adu has proven he belong on the NT. Him and and Holden should be the CAM on the team.

our back 4 is getting toasted here and rightfully so, but when the offense cant hold the ball for their lives it puts that much more pressure on the defense.

This. The BB show should be done with today. Jurgen, if given the chance would change this around. Dude has the international experience, and will bring fresh and creative ideas. I think this biggest reason is, that even though he is german, dude gives a *$&&* about the US, since he lives with his wife and 2 daughters here in Newport Beach.

I didn't get to watch the game last night. I'll have to do so when I get back home later in the week. Seems like the backline is still god awful and BB's tactics after we went 2-0 can/should be questioned...

bob bradley needs to resign or get fired. idk what bradleys fascination with bornstein is but dude is straight garbage. mexico just ran right through him all night. even when we were up 2-0 it didn't feel right.mexico is just too damn fast and our defense was atrocious.
i'm honestly worried about our future. we need to try some new guys out asap, sucks there aren't any meaningful games for a while. we need to get some new blood in this team. get my boy omar gonzalez in there! find some new cb's, forwards, creative mids. SOMETHING!!! I'm still pissed chandler didn't get called up. his presence would've helped a lot last night.
kinda sad that it's now two championship games in a row that we take an early 2-0 leads only to blow it. something to think about... somethings wrong with this team mentally. can't close out a game and if they win a game, it's after getting their backs pushed back to the wall. hardly any games where we just go out and take care of business.
also, we owned mexico for almost a decade and that was fun but they went through a lot of ups and downs with their team to catch and surpass us. now it's our turn to go through that phase. we just don't have the same pool of players available like they do so gonna be a harder hill to climb for us.

goes back to their days with chivas. i guess bradley wants to prove to everybody that he was right to convert bornstein into a fullback. son has no positioning sense whatsoever, and doesn't close down space very well. he tucked in too far on mexicos first, and was caught out on two other attacks that led to goals. as long as bradleys coach, bornstein will be in the mix because thats his boy. i mean you've got spector on the bench, which would have been a straight swap for cherundolo, but he decides to put in bornstein and have lichaj swap sides.

I didnt say the US never won a gold cup i said their only shot at a cup is the world cup cuz they didnt win the gold cup, wont go to confederations, wont go to copa america, and only have Brazil 2014. I said id rather win one like mexico then have nothing.
