**Official USMNT Soccer Thread**

Did you guys end up getting good deals on seats? I wasn't down to spend $250+ for decent lower seats for a mediocre USA team I can watch any time. Heading to Argentina vs Chile instead after my boy got hooked up and sold me his spare for cheap. Kinda regretting passing on it though seeing how a bunch of you are going now.

Got mine dirt cheap but I went through Norcal soccer's governing body.

Idk man something about being at the first match of a major tournament, especially here in the U.S. given the circumstances. It's definitely gonna be special. :pimp:

Bought em thru American Outlaws so it wasn't too bad, like $80 I think
What section you guys in? I'm in 203 one of the lower rows.
I'm in the middle of 103 with AO, not sure if it'll be GA or not..... prob will end up being so

I'll be in Santa Clara bright and early on matchday

I'll be there as well, what time you showing up?
planning on getting there by 2 I think

True. Not that I'd remember much anyway, but my dad said he tried to take me to the 1994 World Cup match at Stanford but I got too sick to go. I definitely had to make it to a major tournament this time

I have low expectations for our squad man. I see us getting out our group and then getting our ***** handed to us the following round. I hope I am wrong though.

Darlington Nagbe :smokin

Meh game but some decent individual performances specifically Pulisic & Wood.

I really hope Wood is finding that consistency in his game given his great performance for Union Berlin this past campaign.

Kits look better on. I know Nike is using the same template for all the teams in the Copa & Euros, but they have looked great to me.

I was kinda falling in & out of sleep on my couch watching this. Was Klinnsy using Zusi as a winger last night?

I missed the game last night, but, DARLINGTON. NAGBEEEEEEE :pimp: :pimp: Need to get that #10 kit ASAP.

Damn, that combo of Nagbe & the #10 is fire...

I just wanna see the brotha thrive...

I will actually be on the field :D 8) I have been both lucky/unlucky with the career path I have chosen to take. More so unlucky unfortunately but hoping for positive turnaround soon. I am actually the assistant venue press officer for all Copa matches at Levi's so I will be working as a field supervisor during matches and handling other PR and press related activities before and after. So if you see a goofy looking dude on the field wearing Lunargrands, that is me.

and good stuff, glad you're still grinding it out; I'm sure all the hard work you've put in will sort itself out soon!

I'll be rocking the Yedlin jersey I picked up, so look for a heavy set Asian guy in that wearing probably cargo shorts in the AO section

have you been in Sac lately?? This team has been infuriating this season

So fellas, who would your starting 11 against Colombia???

This is what I would like

Now to be realistic...

I think this would be nice but i'm sure Dempsey will start and Nagbe could be moved to the midfeild pairing with Beckerman cause I would expect Bradley at the 10 in a formation like this even though I don't think thats Bradleys best position Jurgen has liked him in that role before many times so thats what I expect. If we go with a 4-4-2 I would expect Dempsey and Wood up top if thats the case also I would want a midfield of Nagbe and Kitchen but I expect Bbeckerman to star over one of them. I think this will be the backline for sure though unless Jurgen pulls a 3-5-2 out of nowhere which I doubt happens. Also realistically I wouldn't be shocked if Bedoya or Jones starts over Kitchen.

This could maybe shake things up as well
Edgar Castillo replaces Timmy Chandler on USA's Copa America roster
Castillo getting in the mix now could mean he gets the start at LB and moves Fabian Johnson into his best position and Pulisic now comes off the bench which isn't bad at all.

^^^^ I like that starting 11, but as we know Deuce is starting and so is Beckerman or Jones. I think Wood is going to have a great tournament.

El homie Castillo had a great year at Monterrey so I am glad he was called in. I dont know how DF is Timmy Chadler is on the roster. Dude is buns on the NT. Not that much better at the club level :rolleyes

It has been a long journey that's for sure. I will keep an eye out for you. Only time I'm in Sac now is for a cut or for soccer (I play adult league on Sunday's up there). I have been keeping track of Sac Republic from afar, but for some reason they curved me this season and ignored my request to work game days for them again. Don't get it man, interned for USL (moved to Tampa from Sac for the position) with the hope I'd land with Sac afterwards. I'm sure you know I worked game days for Republic FC last season, I am still living in the valley about a hour and a half away, so I'd drive up to work home games. I'm dying to move back though just can't find a job up there, so if you know of any hook a fellow Hornet up :nerd:

I really believe we have something cooking for this tournament. Johnson on the midfield is a must.

I can rock with that midfield... having Nagbe start was only going to happen in a 4-4-2 IMO

wtf is this backline

Next jersey my son gets is either a USA or BVB Politic...

Bardes really needs to work on his first touch. It's very "American".

Great tuneup victory before Colombia. Nagbe needs to start. I think Jones is having a great runup to the tournament.
