Spector *facepalm*

Bright spot of the game? We've got Gooch back and he's playing well (from what I saw).

We need Landon back. Few and far between did the US create anything. And our finishing was trash.

im so over tim ream, he cant mark worth of !**$...

The GOOCCHHH is back and better than ever..

Yeah Ream sleeping like he usually is. Overall Bad game. Ecuador got lucky on that play, otherwise boring game. We looked flat. Positive that Gooch looks good. I dont want to see Orozco Fiscal near the NT for a long time. Scoring goals still a big issue. Jozy needs to keep getting better in Holland.

What do you guys think about Edu in that attacking role? I don't understand it all. He's a pure D mid. He can fill that role at Rangers on occasion because the SPL is trash but his ability in attack isn't close to being good enough for the international game. Even more perplexing is that apparently Klinsman really likes what he sees from him at that spot. ??????

I'd love to see Danny Williams get a shot in Edu's role. He just might have the athleticism, skill, and quality to maybe be a poor man's KP Boateng for us in central midfield.

I still want to see Edu slotted back in Beckerman's spot and give anybody else a shot as the more attacking oriented CM. Bradley, Williams, Adu, Mix, Torres, Holden when he returns. Anybody.

I was actually really happy with what I saw in the first half. Thought it was the best we've looked in ages. Crisp passing, good movement, created a good amount of decent opportunities, still always lacking with the final pass/shot. Hell I thought we looked GREAT in the first half but that could have something to do with the tree.

THIS.

I just don't think Mo's touch is where it should be to occupy that attacking role. I swear if I see this dude whiff on a shot one more time.

I think MB also proved that he should be starting as a defensive mid - Beckerman is clearly out of his depth to be on the squad let alone starting.

Our finishing in the final 3rd is still lacluster - the good news is J. Corona said he's waiting on JK to call him up and he has no immediate interest in playing for the Mexicans.

Yea I've always liked Mo but he just doesn't have the touch, vision, or attacking instincts to really be valuable that close to goal. He's not terrible as an AM just unbearably average and utterly devoid of ideas.

Is Corona the real deal? I've never seem him play professionally but I think I remember seeing him with Nomads as a kid.

Damn France thats gonna be tough.

At least Klinsy will be bringing his A-team so we will see who is high on his list.

I imagine the other team we play maybe just as hard. This should be fun to watch

Oh and Spector will be back as the coach has high hopes for him.

some dude on twitter said hes hearing Terrence Boyd is gonna make the 18 for Borussia Dortmund's..

The U.S. will hold a training camp next month from Nov. 7-16 in Germany that will feature players from both the U-23 and U-20 player pools. Ramos will run the camp along with U.S. Soccer Youth Technical Director Claudio Reyna.

U.S. announces Olympic camp roster[/h1]
Associated Press

CHICAGO -- Caleb Porter gave some thoughts on his team for Olympic soccer qualifying when he selected an initial 31-man roster Wednesday for a training camp in Duisburg, Germany, from Nov. 7-16.

The new American Under-23 coach, who remains as coach at defending NCAA champion Akron, selected three players who have seen time with the national team: goalkeeer Sean Johnson, defender Gale Agbossoumonde and midfielder Mixx Diskerud.

Vancouver rookie forward Omar Salgado also was picked.

Because of Porter's commitments at Akron, U.S. Soccer Federation youth technical director Claudio Reyna will run the training camp, with new Under-20 coach Tab Ramos in charge of players in his age group and new Under-18 coach Richie Williams part of the staff.

Regional qualifying for the London Olympics starts in March.

The roster:

Goalkeepers: David Bingham (San Jose), Cody Cropper (Ipswich, England), Sean Johnson (Chicago), Jon Kempin (Sporting KC)

I agree on Fizcal. I dont think he is international material. As for Morales, I kept hearing he was going to choose PERU. I guess will see now.

I saw the UNDER-23 list and must say, I was happy with most of the players. They guy I did not see on the list was Herzuler? Is dude not good enough?? or did he decide to play for Germany??

I wish I was as knowledgeable as you guys with all these young guys
