USA goes from 50/1 prior to draw to 125/1 after draw #2014WorldCup

**** it…all in. we're getting out of this group…

win

draw

:pimp:

tough draw. but games still need to be played

el tri supporter here btw. wont be easy for el tri if they dont show any heart

Fellas I think we get out of the group

Portugal are an overrated team. I firmly believe they wont qualify. If we can catch Ghana slipping, we may **** around and qualify.

germany will be tough but we can catch portuagual and ghana slipping. I believe portuagual is overarted and ghana is good but the win is there. Germany will be a good game, but i got usa 3-0 into the elimination round. book it.

He has the "I just crapped my pants" embarassment smile.

"World Cup draw needs to be weighted more. total crapshoot. Mexico rewarded for 18 months of crap. US shines and gets group of mass murder"
GROUP D IS TOUGH TOO

GO USA

Exactly, we won the games we needed to win while Mexico gets a gift from us to get in and we end up with the worst matchup :smh...

Tough group. May come down to GD.

Probably will lose to Germany but we must not get blown out.

In our pot Probably only Australia ended up with a tougher group

:smokin Happy holidays USNT fans...

I've been watching the USNT for a looong time & this is by far the most progress I've seen. It's one thing to have better talent, but it's another to get them to perform the way they should. Klinsmann is exactly what we needed. Glad he's been made technical director too. This & the Tab Ramos' appointment as youth director is a nice move for the USNT.

Jurgen Klinsmann pens new U.S. deal
December 12, 2013
By ESPN staff

United States coach Jurgen Klinsmann signed a four-year contract extension Thursday, remaining with the U.S. team for the 2018 World Cup while also becoming the team’s technical director.

“I am very fortunate to continue the work we started more than two and half years ago,” Klinsmann told U.S. Soccer’s official website. “It’s exciting to see the progress we have made, and we continue to make improvements on all fronts."

"The role of technical director is a huge challenge and also a huge opportunity as we look to keep connecting the dots to the youth national teams, coaching education, the development academy and the grassroots efforts in this country. These are fascinating topics and I am excited work with so many talented people and hear fresh ideas. For sure it means more work, but also many more fulfilling opportunities.”

Klinsmann was hired as U.S. coach in July of 2011, replacing Bob Bradley. He played for Germany's 1990 World Cup championship team and coached his native country to third place at home in the 2006 tournament, commuting to Europe from his California house in Orange County.

The U.S. drew a daunting task for next year's World Cup: difficult opponents, tropical venues and a wearying 9,000-mile zigzag journey across Brazil.

The U.S. opens its seventh straight World Cup appearance against Ghana on June 16 at Natal. Ghana eliminated the Americans in 2006 and 2010.

Klinsmann's squad meets Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal six days later in the Amazon rain forest city Manaus. The Americans have just three off days to recover before closing Group G on June 26 in Recife against three-time champion Germany.
