NIKE AND U.S. SOCCER RENEW LONG-TERM PARTNERSHIP THAT WILL EXTEND RELATIONSHIP INTO FOURTH DECADE
Partnership supports U.S. National Team programs at all levels.

Nike and the U.S. Soccer Federation have announced a renewal of their partnership that will see the world’s leading sports brand design and create the kits for men and women’s United States teams at every level for 9 more years.

"Nike is extremely proud to continue our longstanding partnership with U.S. Soccer,” said Nike Brand President Trevor Edwards. “The partnership reinforces Nike's leadership in soccer, as we continue to deliver game-changing innovations on the pitch and share the same vision to further grow the sport as a whole in the U.S.”

Nike and U.S. Soccer, currently celebrating its centennial, have been partners since 1995. The partnership has been committed to supporting and developing the sport at all levels, from the U.S. Soccer National Teams to the U.S. Soccer Development Academy.

"Nike has been an outstanding partner and shares our long-term vision for progress, innovation, and player development” said U.S. Soccer President Sunil Gulati. “We have enjoyed a tremendous history together that began as we both looked to elevate soccer in this country to new heights, and we look forward to building on our progress.”

U.S. Soccer continues to inspire athletes and fans alike. Highlights over the course of the partnership with Nike include a 1999 World Cup win for the Women's National Team and five consecutive appearances at the Men’s World Cup, including a Quarterfinal appearance in 2002, the first in 72 years.

When Men’s and Women’s National Teams achieve, top regional rankings follow. American players, including Clint Dempsey and Landon Donovan, have solidified U.S. Soccer's reputation globally through sterling professional efforts internationally and stateside. Mia Hamm, twice the World Player of the Year, is widely recognized as the greatest women's player of all time and a full roster of promising young talent like Alex Morgan and Sydney Leroux are following in her footsteps.

This year the Men's National Team had unprecedented success finishing with a record 16 victories. And on the women’s side, Striker Abby Wambach contributed to the record books, becoming the leading goal scorer in the history of international play, men's or women's.

Glad to see my boy, Benny back!

Alumni Bob Bradley's video message to the Stabaek supporters. I wasn't a fan of his hen he coached the US team (wasn't a detractor either) but I do wish Bradley well. Good luck Bob!!!

that year in review video was dope.

With ya on Bob, I actually kinda really hated on him.... but in hindsight, he brought the most out of the group's talent, and for that he is appreciated. RoboBob

Nothing but the best of luck to him! Would have been interesting to see him take a job in the EPL tho.

Gus is the worst. I love commentators who bring a lot of energy and entertainment (like Ray Hudson) but Gus knows nothing about the sport. I cringe whenever he speaks with his nonsense terminology

I just realized Magee doesn't have any caps for the US. He scored 20+ goals this past season. Should be a chance for him to shine. I hope he gets to appear in the friendly vs. Korea.

Full back is an issue with the NT especially when you have a midfielder like Brad Evans having to play right back in the WC qualifiers. I hope Chris Klute has a good camp.

Looking forward to seeing Benny Feilhaber do something also. he really impressed me during the MLS playoffs playing both sides of the ball nicely.

Good to see the young named on the list. Yedlin, Klute, O'Neill, etc.
Semi-excited about this one...

I was hoping he & his agent would be able to find another European club to go to but with the arrival of Radja Nainggolan (young talented attacking mid) to Roma, Bradley became expendable especially since he wasn't playing too much.

He was also making about $1 mil at Roma & he's set for a 5-6year deal paying him $6.5 mil a year.

Plus he needs playing time to get ready for the WC & Rudi Garcia wasn't playing him too much at Roma.

It seems like Tim Leiweke is trying to build what he did at LA Galaxy.

I ain't mad at Mike Mike though... Get that money while you can...

Edit - plus Toronto is a really nice city...

Yea it's exactly what he's doing as he should. Toronto is a market equal to that of  a NY, LA, London, Madrid, etc. It truly is a world class city, long term there's really no excuse for TFC not to establish itself as one of Major League Soccer's iconic clubs.

Professional it was an awful decision for MB90 and the USMNT. Personally, I guess it was a no-brainer for him.

I'm absolutely gutted that our MOST IMPORTANT mid-fielder, 6 months before the World Cup made this move. I understand he wants to get full 90s but a move to Fulham would've done that - at least he'd be playing against top-tier competition on Saturdays.

Ridiculous.

I'll get over it though, best of luck to Mikey.
