**Official USMNT Soccer Thread**

Chandler not only have up the ball but he stopped chasing after it... He should've fought to stay I front of he offensive player...

I dont understand Belgium at all but those other teams definitely have no quality keepers. Probably the main reason they chose 4.
final squads dont have to be named until tomorrow, looks like all those teams with 4 keepers have more than 23 players right now...they just havent made their last cuts yet

certainly a better performance today, I think everyone has to question Jozy's status / playmaking ability right now

We really need to switch to a 4-2-3-1. This one holding mid isn't going to fly in Brazil. We are way too open at the back

Just not impressed by this team. I'm expecting Nigeria to bring it next week and as for group stages in the World Cup.., oh boy!

yeah you're right. Those squads still need to cut it down by tomorrow. We'll see if they stick with 4 or not.

Gonna be interesting if we don't make it out of the group stage.  And the "group of death" excuse is no longer valid.

Side note: I f****** hate these fans who scream, yell, and chant during the post-game discussion.  Happens during the WCF/ECF when Inside the NBA is on the road too

Germany, Portugal, Ghana all did not pick up W's this weekend.....

dont really feel like this means a whole lot. portugal played their 2nd squad most of the match if i recall and didnt look half bad, correct me if im wrong. germany didnt look like they were playing too hard today, i watched the whole game. trying out different players, some guys didnt even play. neuer wasnt in goal. when they wanted to they turned it up real fast with those 2 goals then went back to chill mode. cant say anything about ghana, didnt watch their match

this squad isn't on portugal or germany level and I'm perfectly fine with that.....sucks we got a tough draw but as long as they're competitive I can be content with this world cup

Watched Germany today. They aren't as clinical and consistant has i thought they should be with all that talent and this has been the issue for them since Euros.

Portugal didnt play cr7 and a few others. But they only go as far as Cristiano takes them unless someone steps up like. T

Havent seen ghana to really say anything about them

Yal are going real hard on Jozy. Like I said yesterday, its his final touch, whether its a pass or shot, that is killing him right now. He is positioning himself well on the field and distributing the ball well. However, at the end of the day he is a striker and needs to score goals.

Really unimpressed by Davis and Green. Not to beat a dead horse but dude is just not ready for this level yet. You can see it in his demeanor and play that he is just too nervous/inexperienced. I can guarantee he wont see any playing time in Brazil. I feel bad for him really. JK shouldn't have put him in this position and should have brought him up the system properly (u-20, olympics, etc).

Guzan and Brooks impressed me. Im sold on Cameron at CB.

The left side of our defense the first half was getting threaded. Besler seemed lost. Sad thing is our backup is beasely and im not sure he can go 90 minutes all 3 games in Brazil.

We must start whatever our "Starting 11" is vs Nigeria. Only 90 minutes left and a lot of questions left to be answered about our team.

Its clear and well known only way green would choose the US is if he was promised a spot on the WC squad. He doesnt impress me either

Employee store is 50% off, no tax because it's Oregon too, and swoosh is 40%. They usually have current release stuff there of course.
