I like Johansson better. Younger, faster, willing to attack the defenders more. With the service we saw today Wondo will just be an extra body out there.
With that said I would rather mix up the midfield next game. This group of guys took underperforming to a whole other level. We couldnt keep possession to counter, passes were horrible and they put no pressure to help our defenders out.

They were but honestly, take the starting striker who fits tactically so well AND a starting CB off any non top 5 side and what do you reasonably expect? They weathers the storm and got the result. Portugal didn't exactly inspire confidence today, Ghana is a much more cohesive team than they are...yeah Germany are great but they looked atrocious..not even considering the red card. CR7 throwing tantrums any time anyone else dare shoot. US May only need a draw though this was massive. Very few teams will look good under the circumstances we faced. And add on our most consistent player having perhaps his worst game ever? Gladly take that W.

Ghana has plenty of offensive talent and defensively the U.S. played incredible considering how much pressure there was to deal with. The effort and dedication was incredible regardless of the fact it's the cup, regardless of the fact that's basically what the U.S. is known for.
Bedoya, Jones, Bradley, Besler, Cameron, Brooks, Beckerman, in particular, WOW.
If the team defending is that inspired against Portugal, Bradley gets back to his old self on the ball, and with a little more composure in general, I'm not at all worried. But we do really need Altidore back.

Bradley as a #10 needs to stop.
Move him back deeper like he normally plays. Him being so far up the pitch is why we couldn't hold any possession

The difference between the U.S. and mediocre teams that have been losing already is Howard. That is how they are able to weather these storms. Like I said, you can't do that every game though. Somebody is gonna need to step up against the better teams.
