**Official USMNT Soccer Thread**

Hope you have a great trip & time rck3sactown rck3sactown !

Asians in the house! Nguyen has to be in the top 5 of scorers in the MLS but there isa huge difference between MLS play & international play (Colombia no less). If he sees the field, he'll see a dramatic increase in the speed of the game.

Hope Rubio Rubin gets some time. He's playing ok with Utrecht. Wonder if the Stanford kid Morris will get to see the field too...

I actually like seeing these games in terms of guys trying to make a name for themselves...

Thanks @psk2310!

I leave tomorrow and still got a bunch of laundry to do and need to pack

I have literally no winter/rain clothes, so I picked up a wind breaker.... hopefully that will be enough.

Even though the roster is kind of whatever, its always a pleasure to see the red, white, and blue on the pitch... plus Craven Cottage will be a nice place to check out

Kinda bummed I'm likely gonna not make the Ireland game, but hopefully I will see Robbie Keane play a few weeks later in LA

Fresh blood in the pool. Last I say Lee play was in the 2007 Copa America. Dude has become a beast. I want to see Rubin get some minutes along with the homie Greg Garza from TJ. He's been playing well

You know, it didn't dawn on me that Nguyen & his Revs have the MLS playoffs next week. Couldn't Klinsmann have called him up in January instead? :rolleyes

Doesn't a fullback duo of Garza and Yedlin sound nice?!?! :smokin

Oh damn, I actually forgot about Ze German... :smh:

I was so excited about the prospect Garza showing he's the future for that LB spot...

There is talk that Klinsmann will ultimately use Yedlin in the midfield... If that happens, Fabian back there with Garza would be awesome too. Klinsmann is also said to be using Fabian more in a MF role too.

I guess we'll see what happens. Either way I like the FB options we have.

We will be vastly outnumbered by Colombian fans this match....

Why do you say that are you seeing more Colombian fans out and about on the street?

USSF tweeted that over 22,000 tickets had been sold at one point, pretty close to a sell out should be an exciting atmosphere.

There's good amount of Colombians in Europe, particularly Spain, and greater London.

Try some Colombian food son, you'll like it.

Torn as pops is colombian and I'm born and raised here. Hope there's good entertainment value and many goals are scored.

Thank God its a friendly.

Good call on the penalty...

Jyeah Jozy!!!!

I need to get my son a Beckerman home USA shirt.... :rolleyes

Never knew there were so many Colombians in England! Glad to see the US match their intensity seeing that it's basically a home game for Colombia.

Colombia is really giving it to them. Dumb penalty by Armero, gotta do better. Solid half and I like that Colombia went with the classic yellow shirt, blue shorts, red socks

nice atmosphere at that stadium

it's basically a home crowd for colombia

think it's a good idea to have qualification matches in totally unrelated countries

Welp. Good game at least we didnt get killed. Why is Bobby Wood still with the squad. Dudes straight bum :x :smh:

I wont take this loss that bad. Colombia brought their A team and we brought a B- at best. defense was trash though. Also how many chances does Bobby Wood need to have to score a goal? :rolleyes
