At least one dude agrees with me, lol. I just think the TB-treatment should be for exactly that: the TB shoes that are generic, not for a superstar like Kobe. Again, people blowing up this awesome performance shoe, getting multiple pairs of the same colorway, and leaving them deadstock. Again, using my analogy I used in the first thread, it's like buying a Ferrari Enzo and leaving it in the garage to admire. Kobe should actually be a bit disappointed; not because of the sales (they are obviously selling incredibly well), but because people are using them for casual use and not the purpose intended. Like he has stated in multiple interviews, he doesn't give a flying f**k about how they "look with jeans." All he cares about is performance. If you have the funds for multiple pairs, good for ya, I am not hating, just stating my opinion. I wish the Kobe thread could become more of a tech thread and performance, rather than, "Hey look at my twelve pairs of DK's, I am awesome." Seeing abstractibility's incredibly clear pics though, makes everyone want a pair, lol. Kudos on the clarity and sharpness!

It doesn't matter if you buy them to play or casual. Don't be salty just because you missed out. There have been many shoe a lot of us have missed out on. The whole thing about basketball shoe and jeans their isn't one person in this forum hasn't worn a pair of "basketball " shoes with some jeans! Hell Kobe himself wear these casually its a comfortable shoe for both.

Pure stupidity right here. Sorry... My opinion. If you went through all of the 700 pages in the Kobe thread.... Ppl, like myself, actually wear these. You can only be pointing at me sweetheart.... I wore my del sol iv's for casual when they came out and then I started to ball in them. I have not played in my away v's yet because I still like playing in the iv. But i think for some CW u can wear for causal and some for ball. But it what you prefer to do with your money because there your shoes.

I don't have 12 pairs of Dark Knight's... just three.  One for casual wear, one to ball in, and the other to keep DS.  I don't think I'm awesome, I think the shoes are.  =)

to me, who cares what someone does w their own money and possessions, its theirs, not yours.  i wish i had the money to keep an Enzo sitting in the garage, and so do you
