Just remember..... Jeff Francoeur entered the league with a lot of hype/ fan fare as well.

But seriously though, in baseball the appearance has no bearing on the abilities of either person.
Im not saying Jason isnt going to be good, but the media/fans need to ease off the Heyward wagon a bit. He's being touted as the Pujols of the outfield, as good of a prospect as Griffey/Rodriguez. Ive heard him compared to Hank Aaron.
Hes just another rookie that has potential. He joins the cast of thousands of players who fall into that category.
I hope he plays well, but I fear that his ceiling has been built so high hes never going to reach it and hes only played in 1 game.

I think a good portion of the hype so far has been warranted. Yeah, another rookie with endless talent - but this guy's different. Has every conceivable thing a player needs to achieve stardom.

Sure they've hyped him up too much, but I still think Heyward is more deserving of the praise and hype then Jeff woulda been when he was 20.

Well Francoeur was just the first example off the top of my head because of the Atlanta ties.
There have been numerous other players who have been spoken of as having all the tools. I forget the name of the Royals kid from a few years ago but he was supposed to be the next big thing.
I hope Jason does well, but I just wish the media didnt hype him up so much.
