Definitely a lot of hype for a sub-par performance sock. A lot thinner than I had suspected...my Champion crew socks that I bought at Costco were thicker...

the newer ones recently released are a lot thinner, granted they fit better but probably half the cushioning than the ones released i want to say september and back? my white/pink fit perfect brand new but feel as if they're only a little bit thicker than my regular dri fit socks...

Yes, the XL's are ridiculously big
If you dont have a size 15+ foot dont even bother with the XL's

the ones i got from a couple of years back are thicker than the ones that just release a month or so ago. not only are they thicker, but they are thick in the right places.

I got a pair of thorlos and i like Elites better....... again because the Elites are thick in the right places instead of thick everywhere for the most part. and i didnt like they way they made my foot slide.

i do that too....... depending on the shoe. some shoes i can double up with older elites.

Not as thick- stretchier in fact. I think the Nike football pinks and volts are even more comfortable to some extent than the basketball elites. Not as much padding, but very reasonable.

nope.....i would say the fit tighter..... but definitely not as much padding. i like how the neons feel though.
