alat....please tell me what good things people are saying about the 2 Layers?  I have 2 pairs and both of mine slide around something terrible.  The cushioning is great, cant deny that, but the sliding around will prevent me from getting any more pairs of these.  Such a let down in my opinion.  Just an FYI Im speaking in terms of using these to play ball not for just casual use.

i'm with you on this.  mine slide around as soon as i slip on the shoes...not comfortable at all....

^ Thx! Good to hear I'm not alone on this one. The original elites, platinums, and the 2.0 were all fine with me. Really stayed in position and no movement. The best at these are the compression socks and the vapor crew football sock. They really are lock down. I haven't tried the sequalizers yet so the verdict remains outstanding.

any fix to the 2 layer elites like wearing cotton socks either in side or outside? i have two pairs sitting here, not so sure about busting them out

John, I've tried wearing a regular pair of elites under my 2 layers and it was too thick to function properly.  I couldnt even get my sneaker on.  With the 2 layers I've just worn them by themselves. 

For reference, I was a big fan of wearing 2 elite socks (one over the other) for basketball but now I have a different idea. 

With my cleats: I've been wearing the Nike football compression socks (the volt ones...came out a while ago but are hard to find now in stores) and then my vapor elites over them.  Adds a bit more cushioning.  The support/lockdown (no sock movement) of the vapor elites is great but they arent as cushioned as the bball elites. 

For bball: Same concept as for football.  Wear the compression football sock then the elite bball sock.

i understand, put the thinner sock underneath the thick one. i do occsionally wear those volt football socks for looks, although they are a bit thin and rigid for bball. i wear 1/2 cushion drifits under, which kinda goes against the idea above but they still feel like reg elites with less slippage. im gonna experiment with the two layers to try to find a solution.
