MAJOR BUMMER - every time I call Niketown in Chicago I'm told to call back the next day, or when I call in the morning asking about the Elite BHM socks phone orders I'm put on hold for 10 minutes. (I can't jack my phone bill up too much!)

Hopefully maybe the outlet stores will have them after the months end?

just keep trying. maybe early in the morning or towards the end of the day when its slower.

otherwise, just buy them off of ebay for about $5-10 more to rid yourself of the hassle.

I have been checking fleaBay, and although I don't have a problem with paying a bit more than retail for an item, at this moment the socks seem to be going over what I'm willing to put directly into someone else's pocket.

I'll keep trying the one HoH in the area and still try calling the Chi-Town Nike store.
 
Does anyone have pics of what this years ASG socks look like?

I heard one of the HOH down here in the H was making custom socks and I'm going to check it out tomorrow but didn't even know what they looked like lol.

The Jordan/Area 72 SETUP is doing customization. Adidas store at the galleria is also have product customization. Type in #area72 on instagram, peeps already been there.

Hope the hypebeasts don't do what they did last year in orlando..

What do you call this process and is it possible to do it at home?
 
For the folks who get the elite socks and custom socks, do u guys actually wear them, or collect, or sell them? U can actually make some alright bread with these socks nowadays.

If I kicked out that much cash for 1 pair of socks, Id be too afraid to ruin them..After u wear an elite sock for bball, theyre pretty much just a regular colorful sock.
 
Not into all this "custom" nonsense. If you want an image of a player, buy a photo, not putting it on your socks (that looks like garbage anyway). Just another way for people to "show off"
 
What's up guys. Some of you may be familiar with us. We've been customizing elite socks for over two years now, the very first company to do so. A few of our team members have been (and continue to be) active Niketalk members for well over 5 years, and have been connected to the sneaker culture and community for quite some time. We've been growing quickly and have wanted to make ourselves more apparent on the message boards. We're going to be updating you all on our releases more frequently, as well as offering NT members 10% off on all custom orders from our site (using code NIKETALK at checkout).

We've been at Houston this entire weekend for All-Star festivities, and have recently released our collection commemorating the mid-season matchup. We always aim to release socks that complement the coinciding shoe release, never clash with the shoe. We never understood the point of wearing say a shoe comprised of only elephant print, and wearing an elephant print sock. We try to accentuate the minor details, as you will see in many of our sock releases.

We understand our items may be a bit pricey, it's tough for a small company like ours to sustain when the items we customize are already expensive as is. We're always attempting to give the best experience to our customers, as you will see when you receive a package from us...we don't want to ruin the surprise. If ya'll have any questions, we're all ears and will answer to the best of our knowledge. We should have pictures up of the whole Nike Area 72 installation soon on our site. For now, check out our newest drops on our website ...we look forward to chopping it up with you all in the forums. Thanks
