STREET FIGHTER

I'm almost positive Rose will make a return in this game. Not only was she getting heavy play in the tourney scene later on in SF4's lifespan but this game seems really Alpha-centered with its characters. Charlie, R. Mika and Karin made returns and their fan base being so high when they haven't been in a SF game for about 18 years says a lot. Sodom should def be in the second wave of DLC characters.

Still shocked at ibuki making the cut though. Would've rathered Q or twelve.

I have no idea how they'll release the new characters. They will need to balance it with old new, popular and not popular characters.

Birdie was near bottom in the popularity poll but he made it in.

I'm hoping for Gen but he died in the comics so I can't see him coming back :smh:

Sodom is probably guaranteed at one point though since he's been ignored for a while.

Felt more like discipline than losing.

I was ready to quit the game before it came out :lol:

Lol man i got an XBONE and barely game and this game legit has me wanting to cop a ps4, since i love fighting games. My girl will be mad but hey its my money lol
 
got a few matches in on the beta this past weekend.

bruh, this **** plays soooooo smooth.

the game is a lot faster than iv. they def sped up the pace. aggressive players are gonna LOVE this game.

just based off of the feel alone, im digging V more than IV.

I heard that one of the internal complaints were that Ultra moves were "too" cinematic, which is why the critical arts are so swift and too the point. Can anyone confirm hearing about this as well?

It's like I want the critical arts to last about 3 seconds longer :lol: they look so amazing!
 
Yea they specifically made them shorter because they felt the ones in ultra are too long. I suppose I agree, the luster wears off after a couple months of playing anyway.
 
Does practice mode allow you to view hitboxes? That should be standard procedure at this point.

Not sure if they have hitbox detection but if not it'll have to be in an eventual update if requested enough.

Yea, that was a complaint by many people. Not exactly being too cinematic but being too long and Some were long like Juri's and Ibuki's.

I loved them though, especially the ones were the screen turns white like Guy's Gen and Oni.

Protecting the Russian Skies as well :pimp:

Only fighter I've seen were Capcom did this was UMVC3 on the Vita.

Someone enabled it on the cracked beta for the PC version.

for right now, since it hasn't official released. I would browse youtube for beginner material for now.
 
Well i made the plunge and bought a ps4 pretty much just for this game. :nerd:
To some of you on the fence you can use jet and with a coupon code u can get it down to $291 shipped. thats the lowest i can find now.
I should of made the purchase during black friday :rolleyes

Hoping someone can help me with this. I got my old xbox360 TE joystick that i want to use on a PS4. When i lived in another state i got it modded where it worked on 360 and ps3.
Can i just use this?

Im currently using the Xbox 360/Xbox One to PS4 converter and it works like a charm. the only issue is that since yours is modded you might have to do a little research as to which one you need. i would visit the Tech Talk forum on Shoryuken and ask your question here.http://forums.shoryuken.com/discussion/197708/brook-ps4-xboxone-controller-converters-thread/p21

P.S if you do decide to buy one you have to update it on a PC because Sony does firmware updates that prevents the converter from working. Brooks website provides firmware updates when this occurs.
 
Last time I checked certain adaptors were banned from tournaments because they caused lag or something like that. Not that it matters if your going to be a casual player at home.

I'm debating on trading my Xbox one for a ps4 at GameSpot. I think the difference is 100 bucks or something. I already pre-ordered on steam, so I could just play it on pc honestly. During the beta the cross play worked perfectly between ps4 and pc. I'm going to be stuck buying a stick off eBay though for tournaments.
