Dudes are ruthless with it too. Ive never been the jabbing type but its very efficient in this game.

Zangief would be in my top 5 if he had a better tool to close space. He's got too many matchups where he can't get in. But once he's in its lights out. High middle tier imo.

Just watched Final Round Top8
Infiltration is too good. His Nash is just a step ahead of everyone else.
Haitani's Necalli is so good. He builds up V trigger with the V-skill and crush counters so quick and once in V trigger, he's so dangerous. I love his strategy, he waste no time once he has the bar for V trigger.
Glad to see Sonicfox making top 8 and getting very far with fang. He transitioned well into Street Fighter.
Nash has now won two tournaments but is no one's top 5.

His movement with Nash was really good, really slippery. Reminded me of his Decapre with how active he is.

Nash kinda on the cusp to me. He's deceptively fast and his v-trigger is od good if you use it right. You think you've got him and next thing you know you're eating 40 to 50 percent. He's not easy to play though.

I just posted a few days ago how Nash is a top 5 character, IMO. He's guaranteed a super every round and his V-Trigger is too fast. He can build super meter and V-Trigger hella quick. The fact that he has the fastest jab (3 frame crouching jab) that can confirm into scythe then into uper makes him top tier alone. That jab is so fast it can interrupt your block strings and frame traps, and it's automatic into super every time. 45% of the health bar gone right there. Fastest dash in the game too.

And can you rush down Gief in this game? I keep playing the matchup like its SFIV and primarily focus on a keep away strategy.

Is Nash a bad match up for ken? He just destroys me on ken. His moonsault kick gives me fits.

I wouldn't rush down Gief. Get in and get out. You try to stay on top of him its not if but when he SPD's you. When you have a life lead he has to come to you and he sucks at that. If you have zoning tools use them.
Can't you stuff that with a Shoryuken? @Aze201

Nash shuts down everybody with a fireball when he gets super. Like somebody said his VT-trigger is OD!
It's like let's give Nash this crazy fast teleport from front or back of the opponent with a sonic boom in tow,now guess buddy! Meanwhile we should just give Birdie some bananas/soda/and donught for a VT.. Lolol
I'd expect a nerf where he won't be able to throw a boom and VT at the same time like Sim in 4. Laura up close is nuts, but you guess the command throw right and she eats 50% or more easily.

Balancing is good tho.

You can but its very risky. A competent Nash will precede it with a sonic boom and time so you gotta choose between defending against the boom or moonsault. Add on his ability to teleport and now you have 3 things to defend against.
I was practicing against the cpu Nash on lvl 8 and gave him unlimited v-trigger and ex....it was massacre. That's what got me to thinking he's a bad matchup for ken.

Isn't Dhalsim even worse and I think Birdie's V skill is one of the best in the game.
Brooks adapter sounds like the easiest solution

In reality I think Birdie's VT is actually pretty amazing, Sim's is super legit also. I'd say
R.mika's is buns.
