STREET FIGHTER

Man i hope they bring back Championship mode or make an equivalent for SFV.

Was by far the best online mode to play SF and i was completely surprised they never put it in Super or Ultra IV.

Street Fighter 5's March update will launch on the 28th, Alex released on the 30th, Ryu and Chun-Li story costumes to be released free of charge

Rematch option is going to be the cause of many angry messages lol. You get beat in a close one and get refused a rematch you gonna be extra salt.

Finally. No info on the battle mode costumes though :rolleyes

Rematch option is gonna be fun. You beat someone, give em a rematch, they cheese you out to win the next game and then deny you a rematch

Cant wait till them salty runbacks. I may just take a break from ranked and stick to casuals until the update.

Random thought, but I hated how the SNES versions of the Street Fighter 2s (Original + Turbo) didn't have the elephant sounds on Dhalsim's stage.

I think it becomes an automatic 2 out 3, so this won't happen.

So still no arcade mode update in the patch?

Any word on whether they will add new stages, the game could use some more stage variety. They could make the SICKEST Dubai based stage for Rashid.

The salt displayed by people at tournaments in person is even funnier.

Played this Birdie player after getting first place in a tournament in a casual set. I beat him convincingly 4-0 and he says to me "your playstyle is such a gimmick, I guarantee no one is gonna fall for those dash shenanigans a month from now". I challenged him to a money match and dude says he didn't have any money on him, and he says to his buddy, "he's only beating people cause he's using flowchart Bison, a scrub character who has priority on all his moves." I told him "you mad that you're a ***** or you too dumb to figure it out?".

What a salty *** *****, if I get matched up with dude next week I'm gonna make it a point to taunt and teabag him after every knockdown on stream.

Agree 100%, I'm tired of switching that up to change characters.
I like it actually. The time it takes to switch the character in the option menu is less than the time it would take to pick characters on the character select screen in the long run. Sometimes I would run into a dude that would take forever to pick characters, I kept asking myself if they were in the bathroom or something. Well, this way if they snooze, they lose.

I just had a weird match. I was winning and all of sudden I start getting huge lag spikes for like 20 seconds straight, But the weird part was the opponent never attacked me. Then the lag cleared up and I get close to winning and connection gets dropped.

Opponent lagged the match. People still have access to lag switches. That's why they conveniently occur when you're winning, never when you're losing

Does it cause both people to lag? That would explain why the other person never even tried to hit me.

Lag usually happens when I play against players on the PC. They can press Alt+Tab to cause major lag spikes. Too much **** boy **** when playing online.
