Yes he did, he wore flights and they sold out quick. They was a certain cw though, the rest sat.

These were $130 in 1990. According to the BLS' inflation calculator that would be $235 in today's money. I don't think 200 is an outrageous price considering they have the functioning pump system (of course we still don't know much about the materials used). I'd feel more comfortable shelling out $200 for these then the prices Nike is asking for Jordans these days, all things considered.

Being signed to Adidas doesn't mean he can't wear Nikes, just means any affiliation with him will be Adidas shoes.

No he didn't, the same colorway of both flight 89's he wore (white/royal and an all black colorway) both hit outlets. He wore the Suns Nike Air Force Mid 180's and they hit sales racks too..

I want these bad but im not biting on that preorder.
I still have a small hope the hype train will pass these by, but if prices jump like that and some random rapper gets ahold of them early... ugh
im both excited for and dreading this release. ill get 1 pair somehow, but this aint looking good for doubles.
also, you can prolly iron down that toe box to be more in shape with the og's if it really bothers you.
either way we still got a good 5 month wait =(

Don't be naive. These will have people camping. If Hot Lava ATC2's had consumers going nuts, what do you think a highly sought after classic Nike sneaker that hasn't been retro'd in over two decades gonna do in 2014?!?!?! Hell, even people were getting shot over azure blue Shaq Attaqs. These will command 10x as much hype. (No pun intended.)

i dont know the ins and outs of other brands and things of that matter but i do know that coke reps if caught with pepsi will be fired and its in your hiring contract but if it is pepsi in an unmarked cup it is ok, i dont know why that is i just thought it would be the same for him or players for that matter

This is true. My fiancé works for coke and if she is seen with Pepsi products she can be terminated.
The Adidas/Kanye thing isn't like Reebok paying some b list rappers to wear their shoes now and then...Adidas has given West his own line to design. And after what has happened, why would he even want to give NIKE any shine? Dude is trying to build HIS brand, and his brand has three stripes.

i hear ya and good for him makin more money but the backing of adidas is not going to be the same as it was with nike i bet, his sales and hype will not be the same and that being said and with the stuff between him and nike i dont see him rocking nikes anytime soon which could mean less hype on releases hopefully but it will be years before it is not a zoo anymore

he doesnt post 1/10000000000th of the total pics of him on the net and the dude cant go to the restroom without someone shooting pics of it so yeah he can wear them at home but where else can he? if he leaves his property people shoot pics of him, coke is a generalized example but you dont think other coke reps (yes coke owns other companies as well) wouldnt jump at the chance to get someone caught? thats besides the point and i dont think he wants to wear nike anyway after all these shinanigans

If you are an account manager or you supply stock everyone knows you....you can't go into walmart and buy a 12 pack of Pepsi without someone at that store knowing the coke guy/lady is buying the competitors product. It isn't good for business and someone will snitch. People love to stur up trouble.
I work for a candy company and they don't go to the extremes other brands do when it comes to brand loyalty. I try to only buy products from the company I work for since I want them to flourish since they do signed my checks. That is just me.
....and yes someone sees Kanye West every day. Unless he loves Nikes so much he wears them inside his house and takes them off when he leaves a pic WILL be taken of him and it will be posted on this very site with " I knew he still wore Nikes" and "we got him!" Comments all over the place. It seems like some people can't wait to see him in Nikes again for some reason.

Kobe, LeBron, Jordan only wear Nikes because they have contracts with Nike, not just because they are dope. They are team Nike Kanye is team Adidas.
