i wore the OG reebok pump retro to the gym for some shootaround and had people looking at me like i had 3 heads... it was really funny.  an older guy said "i feel like i went back in time"

Unfortunately, nowadays - these would probably retail for about $175 or so; considering how much they would cost Nike to make.

IIRC, retail in 1991 was $150.  someone correct me if i'm wrong.

The retail was $130.

But for some reason I don't think that Nike would retail them at $175.... More like $200. frown.giftired.gif

20 years later, ill take any version of either pump, working or not. Theyll never be as good as the og's of course, but since the og midsoles are slowly turning to mush and dryrot, and are all unwearable, ill take whatever I can get at this point. Come on Nike, just do it..

i was watching that auction along with tre and who knows how many people... and was AMAZED they went for so much. people are thirsty for these, but that thirsty? $400 for a beat-yet-possibly-wearable pair? wow.
sign me up!

i'm also a bigger fan of the air force 180 pumps, but i'll take the command forces any day!
I watched that auction too lol, wanted to see how much they would go for. Whoever paid that much for those will be seriously dissapointed tho, cause theres absolutely no way those are wearable now, and if they try bits and pieces will fly off them with each step heh, I know whereof I speak. I agree with Tim tho, id be thrilled with a retro of either pair.

Wish they would retro the command force
Hmm...I wonder if they're gonna do it?

Eastbay is asking if they should bring them back on their facebook page too. nerd.gif

I really need a wearable pair in my life.

I don't feel like buying some 180 mids and sole swapping them onto my busted 180 Pumps... But it might just have to be done if NIKE wants to deny their customers.
Every thing is in place to make the shoes they figured out how to do the colorway again , they have the sole units everything is aligned properly.
too high? ohwell.gif

why would we want to do that? the reason why they retro shoes in the first place is so they can bring it back the way it used to be.eyes.gif

Ok so I've been informed from someone thats very close to some higher ups at Nike that they will be bringing the "David Robinson's" back it could be the command force pump or it could be the air force V he really didn't specify I'll post any new info once I get it, if they do indeed bring them back I'll most definitely be very very happy (as long as they are done correctly that is.)

I figured it was time to re up this thread, especially since my petition has nearly 800 votes .
a part of me wants to say these wont sell... but then again i know better because ultra highs will mean ultra skinny jeans.. add a little bit of hype and these will fly off the shelves
post #57 of 5767
Wasn't there a hoh release of these awhile back?

No, these were never released.  Your thinking of the Nike Air PR1 which was a lame attempt at creating the same feel of the Original Nike Pressure.  This thread is for the Nike command force pump, and, if need be im down to push for the nike air  180 pump as well
post #60 of 5767
I voted for both to be retroed. I also need Air Pressures in the worst way.

80s to mid 90s sneakers are my weakness, and I need ALL of these. Im 27, but these shoes take me back to a time when life was carefree and simple. Did anyone notice that the Command Forces have the same splatter pattern as the Air Mags?
