OFFICIAL NIKE AIR COMMAND FORCE PUMP & 180 PUMP RETRO THREAD (**NEW ACTUAL PIC ON PG 1)

Definitely more for the heads in the 90s who really couldn't get these by asking parents for a pair.. $175..the Jordans were already a hard sell & he had the name to back the $125..totally a nostalgia sneaker..not for everyone.

200 for any shoe isn't happening for me no matter what. Pricing these at 200 was a complete dumbass move by Nike. The market is very different now. If something doesn't sell out day 1 it's going to sit forever until it's marked down and 50-65% off.

For 100 at my situation in life (don't really wear shoes unless it's for its purpose IE running shoes for actually running, ect) it's still kinda rough for me because I truly DONT have a time to use them unless it's a lazy day at the gym.

I can get with that, especially if work, etc dictates how often shoes can be worn. I wear all my shoes so I don't understand guys who buy stuff and just throw it in the closet "keeping it on ice", pulling it out like a year later. I am a personal trainer and have been for 15 years, so I get to wear my kicks everyday. So that's exactly what I do. A great deal has been sold over the years but everything I have gets worn. No set "rotation" just whatever I feel like.

I was that way (sure plenty of other could say that too). Would grab jeans, white t, with a different pair of shoes everyday. The only thing different per outfit was the shoes

Slowly it got to the point where I'd wear the same 3-4 pairs, then just 1 pair. Soon enough I realized all those shoes were just a waste of money and space. I moved 3 times within the past 5-6 years al each time I found myself have to make 3-4 trips JUST for shoes alone :x

After I got word I had a kid on the way it was a wrap with buying shoes. After I wanted to buy a house I sold everything worth a damn to do so. That was and 2 years ago. All and all I think I got pretty lucky because Im pretty sure I made money when it was all said and done. Had some lebron SB's, kobe grinchs, ect that really pushed me over the edge for sure.

In short when I buy shoes now it's for the intended purpose of using them for what they're for. I don't buy shoes just to have them like I used too. Though I still wore them I didnt "need" them so to speak. I just don't want to get back to having a pile of shoes because I just wanted them. I busted my butt to get rid of them

im only 24 but these just looked sick to me... i first found the air force 180 mid and grabbed the glow in the dark, photo blue and the wolf grey... then i saw the nike air command forces and learned about the history and i had to grab them... im from the uk so you know i came up off air max 90s, air max 98 etc but as i got older i started getting into high tops (which i hated as a kid) and to me this is the high top of all high tops... and when i looked back further i see that there are sooo many fire shoes that NEED to be retrod... air force five, quantum force etc.... i cant stand air maxes anymore... p.s NOBODY HAS A CLUE ABOUT THESE IN THE UK smh

@BLASTERCOMBO I'm slowly getting to your stage in the "Shoe Game".Family life puts this on the backburner and when it's not your main focus, it's alot easier to fight the urge to get every pair. In the last 2-3 yrs, I went from having 260 pairs(mostly Nike/JB) to around 90 pairs maybe 20-25 pair being nike/JB. My 2015 NYR for shoes was to stick to this standard....
1. $220 is the limit NoMatterWhat and I can only spend that much on 1 pair a yr.
2. Only 1 pair per silhouette unless it's in my top 5 wearable shoes.
3. Only 1 pair per colorway(shades of certain colors are exceptions)
4. If they make it in kids they get em NOT me until it hits the sales rack.
5. If it's not a shoe I really wanted, discount or nothing
6. Never over retail

(Doesn't hurt to ask, right?)

I definitely know where you're coming from. While the kids aren't "mine" my GF's kids are in college, cars, the whole 9 so the fun spending now...is few and far between. But if your responsibilities are all taken care of and there's is a choice and you can treat yourself with no repercussions? Then why not, however those situations rarely arise too lol.

I am in the same boat with 2 kids and a wife. I still have this addiction with these shoes lol. I really have cut back and sold some of my shoes. It really is something about these shoes that are really getting me. I really want to get the Volts just because they are one of the shoes that really are classic. I am just thinking I am not really sure what I will be rocking them with. The other colors I can see myself with but not at full retail. I have seen some really good deals on the Volts though.

Not sure what your size is but SNS has a few sizes of the Volts left for $110 shipped. Spurs for the same but all they have left is 8.5. But just keep an eye on this thread as most of the guys when they find deals are posting them.

I saw that but I was too late, I need a 12. I think I am going to just get the Volts from SP for $129.99. Thanks for helping. They also have the Spurs for $149.99 with a lot of sizes left.

Saw the Emeralds today at the local Footaction, but nowhere else. Anybody know if they the only ones getting them?

I thought the same thing when I bought mine, I asked the sales guy. He said he thought so but wasn't 100% sure. I have yet to see any news that these are going to be everywhere, but I can't find any concrete info on this either.

I really like the Emeralds the best but I haven't really seen any info on another release. I have seen a few people suggesting it but no real evidence. I also read a while back there were going to be less of them then the other color ways.

Same boat here. In high school Nike Air and Jordan was the big thing. I started work at Champs soon after for 8 years during college and part time afterwards. Discounts were great. Met some good friends I still have to this day and we love talking about shoes. I had a small collection and sold them off around 2004. Now I've collected more and have more than ever. Also have a 14 month old and another on the way.

It's looking like that may be the case. I think we would have seen or heard something by now of other stores were getting them. Footaction has done this before. I'm just glad most people don't aren't giving them a second look.

I will say this...at least here in NJ, my FootAction gets TONS of QS type releases and stuff of the like, which is why I don't doubt the FTA exclusive thing. In Store they had Volts, Spurs, Reds, and Ultramarines. Kinda surprised they had no Denim's honestly but oh well.

Yeah, the only place I've seen the Denims is Jimmy Jazz/City Gear.

I can't for the life of me find the Hoyle's in a 14. Did they even make a 13.5? I think I'll just pull the trigger on the emeralds
