Only problem with me was a lil tightness on my little toe.

Curious to see if those Force Highs are actually retroing. I guess technically, they're the Air Force VIII. They were the follow up to the Ballistic Force, which was the Force VII. Oddly enough, Barkley semi-endorsed both of those models. The low version of these was great, too.

Peace,
J

I used to play ball in the bottom right pear. Those were the hottest shoes ive ever worn. My feet were always sweating. Id never buy them again. And ive never had sweaty/stinky feet.

I've posted far too many times about the Air Force Five in the white/black/orange crush CW...
But what's one more? That photo above gives me the feels... I NEEED these back in my life; high and low.
:nerd:

They have the midsole now. Just need the upper.

Not quite. Again, the Command Force midsole is completely different from the Force V midsole. Similar, sure, but completely different. Unless you guys want another halfassed retro like the Assaults where the upper was right and the midsole was totally incorrect.

Peace,
J

Now that i've got a few pairs of these, i've noticed kind of a recurring theme:

1)Volts  -  mesh on left heel, behind pull tab, is crooked.

2)Spurs -  right tongue is stitched badly on top, sits crooked, right toebox a little puckered from the box.

3)Ultramarines - Force logo sits about 3/6 of an inch too low on the right shoe.

Volts and Ultramarines were well below retail, spurs were fairly cheap, but that's noticeable issues on all three.

Did i just have a run of bad luck, or is the attention to detail on these really that bad on average?

As far as sizing, I've been happy with size 11 US. I have the Volts and the Reds. I normally wear 11 on AF1, but on non-Nike, non basketball shoes I wear 10.5.

Recently went to local Shiekh Shoes to try Emeralds and Denims in size 10.5 and size 11. My pinky toe didn't feel that pinched in size 10.5, although it was snug. The problem with 10.5, at least on my foot, was that on the inside, the corner of the tongue (where the tongue bends upward toward the top) really hit the balls of my ankles in a sharp way. It hurt just to stand in them. The feeling was less sharp on the Denims, due to the softer material, but I could still feel the jabbing. On both colorways, I did not have that feeling when I tried on size 11.

Anyone else get that?

The air force v should have been retroed over a decade ago. I dont know why they havent yet.

They retro the ultra force in a low in boring colorways but no air force v? Frickin stupid.
