Wow all these cleats are nice! I just bought a pair of Mercurials myself. Same one Drogba has on. They feel great.

these popped up on ebay, apparently this colorway of the elite series will be released after the world cup (i'm guessing they'll still be labeled as the 'elite' line because of the carbon fiber plate, unless nike wants to make $299 boots mainstream!).

i couldn't find a story behind this, but - according to the getty images caption - frank lampard wrote the name of every premiership team on the bottom of his predators. i'd love to know why.
EDIT: apparently a chelsea tradition (and probably other clubs as well) is to write the name of the teams that you've played against in a particular pair of boots on the boot. very, very cool idea. i really like that.

i can't find any better/larger pics of what beckham has, but you can sorta make out that there's a three lions logo on the tongue. it's a shame that he got injured for so many reasons, including the heat that adidas would have definitely gave to him.

I've always been a fan of the looks of the CTR360, and the CTR360 II's look great too. But I just can't figure out what type of player they're trying to cater to with them.

NDC just posted the new (non-orange/grey) colorways for the elite line, so it looks like this isn't a world cup exclusive sorta deal. all plates are carbon fiber.
-CTR360 in black/white-retro with intertract plate (i want these nowww!)
-CTR360 in black/white-retro with the conventional 360 plate (less 'sharp' blades with the circular pattern in the forefoot)
-T90 in challenge red/white-dark shadow with intertract
-tiempo legends in white/seaweed-sport red with hybrid plate (studs in the front, blades in the back). synthetic leather.

Those are most of the soccer shoes ive owned. Theres a few pairs missing. Off the top of my head those would be the Adidas Predator Mania, Adidas Profi, Adidas F50i, and Nike Vapor IV (green). I got into the whole soccer shoe stuff since 8th grade. Ive always been a Vapor guy I guess, but this year i passed on them and im currently just using the Elites.

I have to admit, even though I have hated both Superfly's from a performance standpoint (and any other super-light cleat for that matter) this new colorway is really nice.
