ultramans are the reason i got into collecting they the oldest pairs i own .i hate how the dunk has evolved .the og dunk shape is spot on to the 98-01 retros(around 02 the shape changes some may debate this)but the swoosh was different on the ogs,more narrow on retros.basically they didnt get milked just the shape has change and the prices have.wouldnt say colorway had much to do with it.

It took me a while to get them all, but I finally completed the ugly duckling pack.
 
city attacks are on my must find one day list. at this point I'm searching between sizes 10-12 and I'd settle for any of them
 
^^nice,have you ever owned the reg release of the ultramans?that swoosh looks a little lighter shade or maybe my mind is playing tricks on me,maybe camera flash making it look that way.
 
My bad for the late reply. I think it's pretty much just the lighting/flash in the pic. The pair is pretty much identical to released pairs. I don't have a released pair of those Spark Blues I posted, but on those I think the shade of blue is a bit different than the released pairs.

As for a contribution, I busted out my Twisted Preps today, I love how understated this pair is, that glacier blue swoosh just BARELY registers as blue when you're looking at them from far away.

Favorite dunks ever bar none. Got them sometime in high school, but it became my go-to freshman year of college. Needless to say, they are destroyed.

If I remember right they were released around the same time, but the ugly duckling pack were all Pro B releases.

i didnt think ugly duckling packs were pro bs were they? i thought pro bs had the stuffed tongue (pre sb ones). like the oxides, olives, stone mesas etc.?

and also the caves (orange purp yellow) are missing from the ugly duckling pic yeah?

Not all of the Pro Bs had stuffed tongues, in fact all of the ones that I own didn't come with stuffed tongues (plums, ceramics, veneers, and sambas) I also have a pair of the White/3M lows that originally came out as Pro Bs in 2001, but I have the rerelease version from 2002 that's labeled Dunk Low Pro, yet they have a stuffed tongue and the weird positioning on the straps. The Cave Purples aren't in the picture because they weren't part of that lineup, those were released in 2003, I've got a pair and I bought them initially thinking they were part of the ugly duckling pack, but found out I was wrong.
