Grabbed the og and safari oscillates today and snapped a few pics of my oscillate collection.
Oh man. You snapped my friend. Nice collection.
I think I'm going to change to round laces like the OGs. Just ordered the white/navy. Debating on the safari. I wish they made the bottom gum rubber. Still might cop.

Og lace swap for sure. Safaris reminded me of the black/red so it was an easy cop for me. Hope they come out with other colorways.

These are sleeper shoes. I did the opposite, I ordered the Safari's but I'm tempted to get the White/Navy...especially with the 12% cash back from Mr. Rebates. Decisions, decisions.

Wish they would of come up with a better color way than the Safaris for the Oscillates. Like the b-reds or a color-fade/gradient version (gold/white/black).Â
Got a pair of the OGs but couldn't pull the trigger on the Safaris. Just don't do it for me. The upper is just too busy.

Agreed. I don't think the Court Motion would see a retro any time soon.
I'm hoping Nike will get around to the Air Alarm, LWP, Zoom Challenge and Air Resistance. All are great examples of mid 90's Nike classics.

Never had these as a kid, but dug them. Wallet tight right now. Hoping I can pick up Safaris or settle for White/Navy on disco at some point down the line. Prob going to be pretty hard in my 12.

I don't see the Air Resistance making a retro appearance anytime soon... a bit too plain for the retro-scene. Â The Kevlar toe was cool, but they wouldn't do it for the retro. Â

I agree that Nike would probably cut corners on the Kevlar but I wouldn't call them plain. The Air Oscillates are as plain as it gets. They just happen to have Sampras and his titles backing them.

Yeah, the Oscillates are also "plain", but at least they had the significance of being Pete's shoe-of-choice. Â
I don't remember who else wore the Resistance (other than Courier, of course) but in terms of iconic tennis kicks, they were always overshadowed by the Challenge Court line.Â

i don't think Sampras had much to do with the shoe's long term success. I'm a huge Sampras fan and he had the GS, but the shoe stood on its own merit. It was and still is a player's shoe, I wore the hell out of 10+ pairs in my glory court days.

Do you know if resell will keep dropping or if it'll increase? I'd like to keep my aj3 vapors and possibly sell them later but if the price keeps dropping I might just sell now

I wasn't comparing them on a legacy or endorsement basis. You stated they were boring but the Oscillates are the perfect example of boring....as was all of Pete's gear. He's still one of my favorite players of all time but the guy was strictly business on the court. Nothing wrong with that at all.
As far as I remember, Courier was the only big name that wore the Resistance. I remember my pops was happy cause they were the only shoe that didn't deteriorate from my toe dragging when I was playing juniors.

Definitely remember both. I always wanted a pair of the Air Max2 Sweep.
Did they actually sell them to the general public? I don't remember ever seeing them on shelves.
