Air Jordan III - WHITE/CEMENT GREY/BLACK/FIRE RED - 136064-105 - SPRING 2011

$25 price hike? we all know how garbage quality the '07 fire reds were. sample pics will make or break this release, like they broke the infrared VIs.

rather just get a decent condition pair of '03s for a bit more.

50% price hike? Did you buy them for $100 sometime in the last 20 years? What are you talking about???

I'm not 100% sure....but the color code for the 2003 version is 136064 102 and the 2011 vesion seem to have different color code, is it mean they gonna be different?

I'm not positive and this is off the top of my head...

Well in 93, I'm pretty positive I paid $99 for my first III's...the cement III's, which was the original price.  Even the true blues in 2001 were $99.
In 2007 I paid $125 for fire red III's
The original XX's cost $200.
The 3/20 CDP with the garbage XX's cost $310.
Even the true blues, on an international release were $130 EUR.  From what I read, don't they typically get charged more, so that justifies the $175.

I think the prices have gone like this $100, $110, $120, $125 for the different versions of III's.  See where I'm going?  Where does the $25 increase from?

So where exactly does the $150 come from, a $25 increase in just three years and a $50 jump?
Seems like Jordan listens to demand to determine prices like with the XI and these, but not when it comes to quality or what we really want.

Man, after this release I think I'd have come full circle and I'll be done with buying Jordan's.  First Jordan's I loved, first I wanted and first I bought.

I could have sworn I just paid like $125 for the fire reds just three years ago.

III's should never be that much. SMH JB... (They realize everyone will still cop).

To illustrate this point:

thus...

It won't take an economics major to understand this flow chart.

^^^ your example is SOOOO on point

.............but ill still be up bright and early to cop these, for the 3rd time

such a hard choice.  3s are my favorite, but it kills me to know that my midsoles are gonna crack and peel so quickly.  i dont trust jb to fix this problem for this release either.  i've been sharpening my passing skills lately, so part of me just wants to keep copping older retros and leave these to the youngsters.  on the other hand, i get that employee discount so we'll just have to see how this one plays out.  if they turn out to be those katrina 3s its game over though.

The 2007 retros sucked in quality and every retro since has sucked in quality so why will these by any different? Because of the price hike? Please...

No real leather= a definite no buy at 150. Plain and simple. I dont care how much nostalgia I have for the white/cement III.

Real Leather= Maybe a buy at 150.

Same Materials as the recent True Blues and Nike Air= Most Likely will buy.

Real Leather and Nike Air= Mutiples, Multiples, Multiples!
