McFarlane wanted it to be a low budget film and more paranormal than action. Impossible to be low budget and have Jamie Foxx. Todd talks the talk but can't walk the walk.

It doesn't sound like he wants Foxx tbh.. He was talking about funding the film himself but McFarlane has been talking crazy for a long time now
 
Oh so Goodard just went with the better job. Thought this was gonna be a trend of directors/showrunners jumping ship at Marvel.

In related news, Steven S. DeKnight will be the new show runner (worked with Goodard on the Buffy & Angel series). Goodard will remain on as a consultant.

You guys werent exaggerating when you said Wright has been working on Ant Man for 10 yrs now. I wonder what they mean by "working on it" but I read he has been working on it since since 2006. Ohh well, he didnt have the rights. Don't feel bad for him. Still wish they would choose a better hero. Just like in the comics Ant-Man keep taking Ls.

X-Men was :nthat: Definitely my favorite out of all the films. Excited to see what they do with Apocalypse.
 
Xmen DOFP surpassed my expectations x 1,000,000 movie was probably the best superhero movie I've seen, crappy costumes aside the way the story was told and the performances by all the actors specially McCavoy was incredible, I finally connected with these characters!!!! I'm seriously full of joy they finally got them right.

The score was amazing too!

Yeah it's based on the tv show but I figure it fits in with the thread?



Also, Edge of Tomorrow with Cruise and Blunt are getting good reviews but sadly, experts are expecting it to flop.

I totally wanted to watch Minority Reacher Oblivion Elysium Looper Groundhog Day, aka Edge of Tomorrow, but I suspect it can wait til it hits Blu Ray.
 
No desire to watch a movie where the main character lives through the same day over and over.
 
Never got around to watching more than a few minutes of that movie.

Bill Murray & Andie Macdowell > modern day tom cruise.
