By Scott ColluraIf, like the Caped Crusader himself, you’re a nocturnal creature, then you might welcome this news. The long-delayed second half of Beware the Batman Season 1 is finally coming to TV… in a 3am timeslot.

Where’s My Beware the Batman?

Reports have surfaced -- and we have confirmed with Adult Swim/Cartoon Network -- that the series will start airing on Adult Swim as part of the Toonami programming block beginning on May 10 at 3am ET/PT. Essentially, as fans feared, the remaining episodes of Beware the Batman are being burned off quietly.

The first 11 episodes which have already aired on Cartoon Network will kick off the new slot weekly starting on May 10, with the remaining, unaired episodes (numbers 12 - 26) beginning on July 27 at 3am. (Two of those episodes have already been available on DVD.)

Bat-fans will recall that Beware, the latest series to feature the Dark Knight, was abruptly pulled from CN’s schedule last October with no explanation from the network. Double episodes of Teen Titans Go! were aired instead during the DC Nation one-hour programming block.

This worried viewers -- rightly so as it turned out -- who were still feeling burned by a similar situation involving Young Justice and Green Lantern: The Animated Series the previous year. Those shows did go on to air their remaining episodes -- in normal, non-creature of the night timeslots in fact -- though neither series was picked up for a new season.

Clearly, the same fate awaits Beware the Batman.

Show was never destined to succeed. It didn't have a toy line which is pivotal in whether a cartoon lives or dies.
 
Was tony really the "leader" in avengers though? He was more like the favorite, like a green ranger if you will
 
^lol. Almost every story involving Ultron in the comics sucks. Ultron Initiative is the best one and it is still average at best.

Yeah but Thanos complicates the verse wayyy too much. The reason American comics suffer from poor sales is because they suck at worldbuilding and introduce all kinds of ridiculous concepts and storylines which go on and on. That's why I supported Ultimate Marvel and why I support the DC New 52 (even though a lot of those stories are poor)

I don't want a character who ***** up the comic verse ******* up the movie verse. Like is Mistress Death supposed to be in the movie too?

Let me clarify...I'd prefer the evil killer robot than the evil alien from Saturn.

I'm sure movie Thanos won't disappoint though

[COLOR=#red]side note... I'd pay to see Death, Deadpool, and Thanos in a movie.

I love Thanos as a character. Don't see how he can't transfer over to the movies.

I think people romanticize a bit too much with older comics. All of them weren't great, there was a lot of sh-tty story-lines. There are some now, but there are some damn good ones too.

Yea.. He basically funds it.. They set up shop at his mansion.. And then he tries to give members upgrades where he can

But he's still tony., so he has a contempt for authority.. And values his opinion over others
 
So...Adam McKay (Anchorman, Talladega Nights, Other Guys) is going to be directing Ant-Man.

That's always been the neat thing about Stark especially as an Avenger. He takes his role as a superhero pretty seriously yet he doesn't actually have a superpower :lol:
 
Hell even the Other Guys and Anchorman are both better than all any edgar wright movie.

This is the first Marvel movie which I dont care if it fails. Ant Man should be Hulk status and only appear in Avengers movies imo. Even tho the EMH made me like Pym still not that much.

Yeah Cap was the leader, Tony even deferred to him for orders when they got their **** together in the end.

It should be rephrased to say Iron Man was the hero of Avengers amongst the other heroes. He stood out since IM and then he stepped up and risked his life going through the portal in the end.

Eh not really seeing this criticism as any good :lol: Thanos is great. Every Starlin written Thanos story is great. All the concepts are grounded on theories and philosophies easy for anybody to understand. Not convoluted or complicated.

Plus technically Thanos has his roots on Earth given his parents are from there. I don't see how he ***** up the comics verse at all.

It's as simple as super powerful genius alien seeks ultimate power, gets it loses it, seeks more power gets it, battles most of the universe's heroes but ends up sabotaging himself and loses it, along the way he sees that there is no point in life and might as well wipe out all of it (becomes a nihilist) and falls in love with the personification of Death.

Even though he dropped out but given his recent comments there might be a slim chance he sticks around for something.

I'd be down for Marvel tackling a comedy movie. The other ones were pretty bad anyway (the one with Uma Thurman, I think it was Epic movie which is a parody flick that had that Dragonfly superhero). Only Hancock balanced comedy and seriousness but even that wasn't that good.

Most ppl see Antman as a joke anyway.

Yah, and I overwhelmingly don't like em. I said how much I hate scott pilgrim. The rest are average at best. Haven't watched anything since scott pilgrim.

Based on scott pilgrim's box office people agree with me. Even the people who defend his work havent seen that movie :x
