Loki the character as a villain is meh to me as well. I don't think he sucks but I don't get ppl loving this depiction of him like Hiddleston is doing anything unique or amazing with him.

As said before the weakest thing Marvel studios has going for them is their villains.

So for me Magneto (even though they make you relate/sympathize with him) is better than Loki by a mile.

Well yeah if you count when Marvel was Timely.

speaking of The Wolverine, why was SS a robotic suit? thought it was whack just like the robotic Rhino. I really want them to do away with Hugh Jackman/Wolverine. although i like Wolverine they should start focusing more on Cyclops. the REAL leader of the XMEN. DoFP is deff the best in the series thouugh. also in Age of Apocalypse, will it be the old cast or the new First Class going against him? or will it be both sides doing time travel like in DoFP?
 
you disagree? they way i see it is, Cyclops is the Red Ranger while Wolverine is the Green Ranger (the more popular). im just tired of all the movies revolving around him. they need to focus on some other characters storylines.

Yes I do disagree. Outside of Jean Cyclops really doesn't have a lot going on, as far as I know.

And we talking about the movie industry, meaning we're talking about money....OF COURSE they're going to focus on the more popular characters.
 
Cyclops is more or less just like superman personality wise with a little high school jock mixed in. "Perfect" in every way and semi arrogant about it but kinda "unaware" of the arrogance.


In the movies they made him kinda emo and bland

What's changed during Batmans layoff? If anything he should of been weaker. Did he over think the first fight and got caught in banes cross ups and reset combos? :rofl:

Did he win because he just started mashing buttons? :lol:

Why doesn't he have a more secure mask? Its his one and only weekness yet you can knock it loose with a couple punches? C'mon man :lol:

THIS. he was the man in the 90's cartoons and they made him super lame in these movies, sort of like an after thought where as he should of been more in the forefront of these movies. dont get me wrong i like Wolverine as much as the next guy but they have so many other storylines they can go with. i really hope the rumors of the next wolverine movie being his last are true.

Yeah, that's what I like about him in comics. It's makes sense that with all the years Prof. X trained him to be a leader, he develop that confidence to make the right calls, even choosing to be in the "gray" area he's been in these last few years. Him shooting the plates in X1 was cool, but as far as I'm concerned, Cyclops doesn't exist in the movie-verse.
 
That interview posted in the DoFP summed up Cyclops nicely. He isn't a leader. Half the team doesn't listen to him. The real leader of the X-Men was Xavier and then Storm. It's only recently he comes off as an actual leader in the comics. Son spends his time sprung over Jean, then her clone, he left the team and wanted to several times, got beat by a powerless Storm. Son aint about that life.

I never cared for cyclops until recently. Ever since he adopted Magneto's old role in the comics, just not as drastic. But the movies did him no justice tho. I wonder if they will ever go that route in the movies.
 
Cyclops is a G right now in the comics... or last I read he was. I just got to the battle of the atom. Anyway if they bring Cable into the mix for the Apocalypse movie, what actor do you guys wanna see cast for the role?

BY JARED LARSONFUNimation Entertainment has announced that Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods will be coming to over 350 screens across the US and Canada for a limited release on August 5, 6, 7, and 9.

An original story from Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama, Battle of Gods finds Beerus, the ancient and powerful God of Destruction, searching for Goku after hearing tales of how the hero defeated Frieza. As the new villain's threat to humanity grows, Goku must ascend to the level of a Super Saiyan God to stop Beerus from destroying Earth -- and the entire universe.



"We're very excited to be bringing Battle of Gods to movie theaters across the country this summer," said Gen Fukunaga, CEO and President of FUNimation Entertainment. "Dragon Ball Z has always been a huge part of everything we do at FUNimation and, speaking as a fan myself, I can't wait to watch it on the big screen."

FUNimation promises "plenty more to announce" in the near future. In the meantime, you can find more information and sign up for updates on the official site.

i think they will. isnt he in DoFP? im sure that was him and most probably missed that. i dont know how to use spoilers sorry guys.
