News On Future Films Based on Comics/Paranormal/Sci-Fi

If Fox was successful trying to buy WB, which they failed to do a few weeks ago, the possiblity of JL vs XMen/F4 would have been one step closer.

It likely wouldn't have happened anyways but those properties in the same company is pretty big.
I'm pretty sure if this had happened the crossover movie would've definitely happened.

Just in like 2025 or maybe slightly earlier and I know FOX would do it just to try and crush Marvel. They'd release it on the same day as Avengers 5 or w/e and make them move their date. FOX would completely dominate if they absorbed WB to make those movies.

Plus it'd be a huge F U to Marvel which might force publishing to actually think of dealing with DC again for the comics.

Oh well, there's always other media conglomerates as far as money if WB is selling.

Supes could probably rocket straight thru the Earth core if he wanted and blow it up. Superman beats anyone ever lol

Even as a Marvel fanboy I simply did not agree with Spiderman beating superboy. I dont give a **** cuz they are both lame but that was laughable at best.

Don't know why ****** ***** about Wolverine beating Lobo. Wolverine has gone up with the Hulk.

According to the movies, Supes could fly in the opposite direction of the earth's rotation and turn back time to when Batman was a baby and kill him then.

:smh:

What could he do to Franklin Richards or The Beyonder except die?

Isn't he weak against magic. Don't think Black Adams magic comes close to touching Doom or Strange's.

I posted this in the Avengers thread as well but

Okay so according to the comic book section of reddit, they are saying what I used to say, that the Staff is NOT a gem.

Hints:
When black widow shut down the tesseract, she used the staff and the doctor said "it can't protect against itself". Which makes sense since it is the same color.
Like I said before they said in some way or another, rather explicitly, that the staff is powered by the cube.
How would the mind gem give Scarlet and Quick their powers (I thought this was weak since the movie aint out yet)
Loki's power include psionics and misdirection, this could just amplify those powers.
When the collector was explaining the gems, they were all different colors.
There is NO WAY Thanos would give Loki a gem, even for the promise of another one.

Which made me go back to believing that Marvel did not intend to do the infinity gauntlet stuff until after the success of the avengers and decided the cube was a gem after the fact. It's used pretty inconsistently. How would they make energy weapons out of the space gem?

It seems to me like they aint confirming it as the mind gem until they are sure they don't have a clever way to introduce the mind gem.

That's that BS "prep time" writing

Call it what you wanna call it but batman laid the smack down on superman's candy ***. Weak, boring ***, inconsistent DC heroes.
Batman included if you wanna go that route.

Basically. The only thing inconsistent is how he chooses to hold back.

Of course Feige is takin out his *** with all this planning stuff. They put the cosmic cube in avengers and then want to go back and say it's an infinity gem?

I've been said all that stuff. Also, the infinity gauntlet being in Asgard was just an Easter egg. They didn't intend it to stick to the story.

^Where were you when I said that an errybody was clownin me?

When were they clownin you? marvel has been throwin **** on the wall and seeing what sticks movie wise. As NT's resident marvel homer I feel like they've bit off more than they can chew with the whole infinity gems thing. That's not a story you can cut corners with

^IDK off the top of my head. Ask all these NT clowns that can find post from 2 years ago in 5 mins. JK they won't help cuz it won't be convenient to them.

Evident considering the gems were already in the gauntlet. I think that is why these are called the stones. The gems will absorb the power of the stones.

They should have made the infinity gauntlet stuff phase 2-4 to avoid this mess. Or 1-3. not 2-3

I know everything culminates with Thanos in Avengers 3, but I really wish they would make that a 2 parter. I'm never one to agree with milking but with all Marvel movies leading up to it, can you really contain the "ending" within a 2.5 hour movie? It really needs to be a LOTR type deal with at least a 4 hour movie

Marvel should just surprise us with a Thanos Rising movie that includes everything that happens pre-A3. Brolin was just talking about Thanos' relationship with Death and how his weakness is humanized and such, it would be great to see his whole story on the big screen and then see his behind the scene dealings this whole time.

Marvel might as well be the first to create the first villain-centric film, beat Sony to the punch.

You just made me wish for Marvel to use one of their upcoming dates on that idea. I'd be down for that in a heartbeat. That'd be the gamechanger that Anakin in the SW PT was supposed to be.
