News On Future Films Based on Comics/Paranormal/Sci-Fi

Look no further than the movie he was in, London.

If he prefers those to what he's doing with Cap/Avengers, then bless his heart.

WB/DC needs to stop trying to copy Marvel.

You got other superheros you could use in their own movie but you want dig up some obscure group that most have never heard of. :smh:

When GotG was successful I knew the Legion would become a movie. I dont know much about them. Downloaded a few copies after watching JLU last year (actually a comic I was hoping they would do for New 52). I think they are a dope team so no complaints but I didnt read anything that stood out. But how would they do it so they appear in the big JL movie if they take place in 3000?

EDIT: At first I thought it would be GL tho until i realized they announced GL and Flash would share a movie.

So you would be down with the recasting of luke or han solo?
If any cinematic universe needs to be rebooted for one character then that universe is weak.

You can't make a decent amount of characters where continuing the story is more beneficial than rebooting

IDK about Star Wars weak *** but Chris Evans or RDJ isnt needed for Avengers with all these properties breaking the $700 mark. I will give DC the benefit of the doubt and say none of their big three actors are needed to keep the universe either

Are you kidding me? I look forward to their recasting so we can go to the spinoffs we need like Han/Lando, Han/Fett, etc.

I was hoping someone would say this. How I feel about Cap. Look fwd to Evans either dying or WS taking his mantle or being recast from some convoluted plot point. If he comes back then that's cool too.

Different people write these comics and depending on the writer the characters feel different and Marvel has never needed a reboot for that

So you would be cool if episode vii had david duchovny as han solo and val kilmer as luke skywalker?

Did they not recast Obi Wan with Ewan McGregor? :nerd:

I would have been fine recasting Han/Luke. But younger than Val/David man.

That's pretty unrealistic castings though  JJ seems like he's doing everything to keep SW at a certain standard and making absurd casting decisions like that would be the last thing he does.

This ain't Joel Schumacher who'd probably add nipples to lightsabers and make them look like fleshlights or something

I've been saying for a long time, had they done what I was asking for, and gone younger recast, but followed along the "known" storylines, they could have casted plenty of young Hollywood, and done absolutely fine.

What they are doing first is using the nostalgia angle, but at some point, the world will wonder what went on the previous 30 years, and someone will have to go back and do the recasting anyways for spinoffs/prequels, etc. Shoulda just done it from start and moved ahead. Would have been so much easier.

Off course I cape up for Snyder. Snyder makes the only bearable version of Superman since Superman II. Yah he changed a lot of crap but finally a version of Supes that isnt complete trash.

Goyer wrote Blade, MoS, and the TDK trilogy that you anti stans hate so much.

Argo screenwriter on board too. Never saw that whitewashed trash but I heard it was good.

Out of all their questionable decisions I should concern myself with a turret?

I can see David as Han though

 @ Val Kilmer as Luke. WILD!

Nobody hates Blade. Everybody agrees Blade 3 is trash though.

Goyer is simply mediocre. There's nothing exceptional about the dialogue he writes or his plots. When movies he writes turn out great it's in spite of him not because of him.

If you like stuff like MOS and TDKR (and think Batman Begins was great  ) well that's how ppl form opinions of your taste in superhero movies.

I badmouth the trashheap that is Star Wars every chance I get and you think I give a **** about people's opinions on my taste in superhero movies

I of course know the backlash I will get from my opinions about the weaksauce that is Vader and the kidneystone that is Scott Pilgrim.

MoS gets a like just for doing the justice of giving us a Superman that isnt a fairy.

No. It just bears repeating you don't have good taste.

Star Wars don't got much to do with it.

You call one thing trash and embrace the next man's basura. W/e.

George Lucas said so himself. Even saying **** like Star Wars stood on the shoulders of Star Trek (cuz his weak *** series couldn't do it on its own). Star Trek softened up the entertainment arena for Star Wars. You jerking off to Hans Solo doesnt make it any less true.

Star Wars couldnt hold Star Trek's **** while it took a piss.

Like I said, keep on believing that story man. Keeeeeep on believing that.

George said that in 2013, for a Trek story, by the creators son. Yet all thru the 70's and 80's, he credited his real inspirations, which there are many, and easy to locate.
