I've said before of all the rumors the Cranston one not coming true was the probably the dumbest not to happen but that was way more of a fan rumor coming off the end of BB anyway.

I'm talking about the early rumors that the whole damn JL would be in this movie and them slowly confirming that by who gets cast as them.

That might be on NT but I know a lot of big Superman fans that hated this movie with a passion for obvious reasons :lol: Dudes basically saying this isn't Superman.

I seen one theory online hoping that the twist would be MOS Supes is Bizarro :lol: in a more subtle nuanced way.

I don't got many problems with Batfleck. He might be the only thing I might like about this movie if he brings his A game.

That is still not confirmed though. Batman, Superman and WW doesn't make the whole JL, even WWs role is so small that she is off somewhere else shooting a different film now. Momoa isn't confirmed and even the dude playing Cyborg is nowhere to be seen. And after that, no one else is confirmed or even rumored now.


Cranston rumor was definitely not just the fans craving more Walter White, multiple "sources" has supposedly "confirmed" it and even that one AMC exec or editor (as I mentioned above) also confirmed it. News were even saying Cranston turned the role down to do Broadway. Mark Strong was strongly rumored too but I don't think he was offered or even ont he short list for the part either.


I mean come on, you know me as a big Superman fanboy and has posted all BvS related news/rumors but even I stopped posting them because there were just too much ridiculous things being "reported" out there. :lol:

I've read everyone's complaints, they were just making stuff up to complain about. Like the glasses thing. Which every single Superman story in history has had, but THIS movie, it was a problem. :rolleyes

The complaints were just plain dumb. People complaining just to do so, nothing more. Had Nolan done the exact same film, they would praise it as new age, genius, etc. Because it was Snyder, it was crap, holes, shaky, this that and the other. And I spotted it right away.

This explains a ton why you've complained so much on MOS. You like that pos 78 film that was as stupid as anything ever done, but with a great score. At least the Zod sequel was good in 81. 78 is freaking terrible.

If you've seen me post in these comic threads you know I'm the biggest DC hater on NT and for me to acknowledge that the hate for MoS has no bias what so ever. People were being unreasonable. I mean what superman film showed you krypton? What superman film actually showed you superman going toe to toe with an equal? I mean fam.... How you gonna warship the Richard Donner superman films as superior? The cellophane S? Do we really have to go there? :lol:

That's what all the complaints were. Old Lois Lane, glasses, Oh, they broke too many windows in the city, who will clean all that up, too much time on Krypton, Supes killing Zod (which he'd already done in a movie) etc. It was all bull ****.

They missed everything Costner said. Everything Crowe said, so they could focus on "why aren't the cars flipping in the tornado?" Well ****, I don't know, how did Helen Hunt sit in the center of the biggest recorded Tornado in history, and just have a belt hold her down? Let's go re-examine that film and discuss. :lol:

meta critic is an aggregation of respected film critic reviews, you think they were all making stuff up?

my complaints in the film have been detailed, and they have nothing to do with lois lanes appearance, so im not sure what you're talking about.

Glasses talk may have went on long cuz you argued with it but that was after the other complaints, before those things weren't the only legit criticisms. I know for sure what my posts contained.

I don't know what you mean by everybody missed everything about what the two fathers said.

The stupidity of Pa Kent is unfortunately seared in my mind. I remember all of his dumb reasoning and what he told Clark. Even worse his mom just standing by and not having anything important to say to support that view or oppose it.

Everything that built up to his death was poorly written, edited and conveyed.

His moms scene was when he was in the closet and she rushed to the school to get him out.

The other one was at the house, when he was older, before he goes to talk to the preacher.
 
I'm not saying she didn't have scenes. I'm talking about the beginning and all the scenes dealing with what Pa Kent said to him about how to live in this world.

First of all that title goes to me. I have lapped you ages ago. It's not even a competition.

But I agree. Superman film was good. 7/10

That film was definitely made for the Superman haters and all the people who acknowledge Superman is a terrible character and the more changes they make to him the better.

Not surprised at all the hate for that movie with all the Goyer anti-stans in this thread. Are you gonna listen to people who don't like Batman Begins and The Dark Knight but like Scott Pilgrim :rofl:

So you mean to tell me, they been around but NO one helped? But they can say why next film. I really did expect a Flash cameo when Jenny was stuck under that rubble
 
Eh, are we going to question why a hero doesn't get helped by other heroes in every movie now? No one has helped anyone really in the marvel films.
 
Yeah, there's some serious nitpicking going on. The movie's does suffer from horrible delivery and editing but cmon guys.

I dont have a problem with heroes not helping other heroes. What I do have a problem with is that, according to rumors, they haven't even met yet. Batman is retired and they haven't even bumped into each other once?

I remember at the start a whole bunch of ppl were asking specifically where were some of the Avengers in IM3 specifically. No surprise. Similar in Thor 2 with that London stuff.

I remember somebody at Marvel saying some of that stuff would be explained like Hawkeye not being in Cap 2 (like anybody's care) in A2 but it really hasn't in the other so I just ignore it.

Aint that big of a deal imo.

TDK was it's own universe. For all we know Metropolis didn't exist. That's why there was no Supes. It's been talked about how stupid all of Batman's threats would be if Superman were a few cities away.

As for Bane, I assume son was still in the pit or off in some other country plotting with Talia dismantling a gov't.

Besides ppl don't ask where super villains are cuz they don't usually team up with other super villains or come to help them. Plus many don't play nice together.
